We are fortunate to have three good candidates for Warsaw City Council at large. I know and respect all three candidates. All three would make great members of our city council.

I am writing to ask for your vote for Jack Wilhite for Warsaw City Council at large. Jack is a person of high character and a person who always tries to figure the best action for the citizens. He strives to look at every issue with an open mind. He is also able to stand under pressure. I have seen him act with deliberation and common decency when others are driven by their passions.

Jack makes decisions based on what is best for the whole community, not just a few. Jack believes in government transparency. Jack was the city councilman who led the effort to provide live streaming of all city meetings.

Jack, as a great Republican, believes in low taxes. Jack and other council members' work to manage the budget has kept property taxes to essentially a flat rate over the past three years. It may have gone up by a couple hundredths of a cent on the $100 assessed value, but it has maintained a fairly flat rate.

Please join me in voting for Jack Wilhite for Warsaw City Council at large.
