Thespian Troupe To Perform ‘Godspell’

An ensemble cast of 10 upperclass Thespian Troupe members from Warsaw Community High School is putting on a production of “Godspell” April 26-27.

Times are 7:30 p.m. April 26 and 2:30 and 7:30 p.m. April 27 in the WCHS Black Box Theatre.

All tickets are $10 and are available at the door but seating is limited. Anyone interested in attending is encouraged to buy their tickets ahead of time in the Performing Arts Center box office or by calling 574-371-5040.  

“Godspell” is a classic Broadway musical that was revived in 2011 and follows the book of Matthew from the Bible, focusing on the parables.

“The music is amazing, the story is compelling, the emotion is strong and the talent is incredible,” said Director Dana McAfee.

Only the roles of Jesus and John the Baptist/Judas have names.

The cast includes William Robison as Jesus; Joshua Fisher as John the Baptist and Judas; and Michelle Apeland, Lleyton Brainard, Yvonne Castillo, Theo Cooke, Lauren Housel, Katie Lauck, Cassidy Neubaum and Sophia Schlitt.
