BRISTOL – Auditions for “The Music Man” will be held at 6 p.m. May 5 and 7 p.m. May 7 at St. Mary’s of the Annunciation Church, 411 W. Vistula Street, Bristol.

Performance dates are July 12-14 at the Umble Center at Goshen College. Auditioners are encouraged to bring a complete list of conflicts from May 12 through July 17.

During the auditions, a piece of music from the show will be taught, as will a small piece of choreography. Short readings from the script will be assigned at the initial audition. Callbacks, if needed, will take place at 7 p.m. May 8.

Rehearsals will begin the week of May 1 and will run Monday through Thursday nights from 6:30 to 9:30. Additional rehearsals are possible on Friday and Sunday evenings as needed.

This classic piece of American musical theater will be directed by Steve and Stephanie Salisbury.

Rehearsals will take place at St. Mary’s of the Annunciation Church but will move to the Umble Center approximately two weeks before opening night.

This is an all-ages show and families are encouraged to audition together. All levels of singing, dancing and acting abilities are welcome.
