Wagon Wheel Center for the Arts invites the community to a memorial service honoring Thomas N. Stirling’s legacy and devotion to the Wagon Wheel.

The memorial service will take place Saturday at the Wagon Wheel Theatre, 2515 E. Center St., Warsaw. Doors will open at 1 p.m. for a dessert and coffee reception.

The service will start at 2 p.m.

Songs and performances by Wagon Wheel Theatre alumni, Wagon Wheel Jr. students and Symphony of the Lakes performers will be presented in honor of Stirling.

Stirling, who died Dec. 23, at his home in Warsaw, was the musical director for 13 years and full-time staff since 2013 at the Wagon Wheel.

“His gifts as a musician, educator, and conductor made him a valuable and irreplaceable co-worker and his dedication to the Wagon Wheel made him family there,” according to a news release from the theater.
