LIGONIER – Whitko’s girls tennis team was shut out in five matches by host West Noble Monday evening in the Wildcats’ season opener.
The Wildcats return to action Wednesday, traveling to Bunker Hill to face Maconaquah.
Triton Drops Season Opener To Knox
BOURBON – Triton’s girls tennis tem fell 3-2 to visiting Knox in Hoosier North Athletic Conference play Monday night.
The Trojans will host Tippecanoe Valley in non-conference play Wednesday.
Boys, Girls Hoops Classifications Announced
INDIANAPOLIS – The IHSAA released its classifications for girls and boys basketball Monday afternoon.
No changes were made for schools in the Times-Union coverage area: Warsaw remains in Class 4A, Wawasee and Tippecanoe Valley in 3A, Manchester and Whitko are in 2A with Lakeland Christian Academy and Triton in 1A. Manchester is among the five largest schools in 2A.
