Singles Meeting Friends

Singles Meeting Friends returned to Martin’s Super Market for its weekly gatherings now that warmer weather is here.

Last week Tom T returned from Florida to tell of his family's festivities while there. They stayed in a "house" that looked like a mansion and could sleep 24 people. They found many attractions to stay busy.

Donna and some of her family are in Palm Springs, Calif., for a brief vacation.

The group gathers between 6:30 and 7 p.m. Wednesdays in the Martin’s deli to visit and play euchre.

This Friday is the monthly game night. Singles are invited to bring their favorite card game, dominoes, Yahtzee, etc.

Lorie Krygier announced Hacienda Restaurant will be having a 20% give-back to Friends on May 8. Several ways to participate were offered and coupons distributed.

FOL will treat library staff to a pizza party on Tuesday to celebrate National Library Workers Day during National Library Week, April 7-13.

Anna Jackson won a free one-year dual membership. Ian Martin drew her name from among the Rate Your Date entries. All participants received a box of candy from the Buffalo St. Emporium.

The highlight of the meeting was a PowerPoint reveal of the 2019 Wish List presented by Zydek. There was extensive and exciting, open discussion,  and questions were answered by Zydek and Jackson.
