Series Will Look At End Times Timetable  

WINONA LAKE – Are we in the end times? What does Jesus want us to know? Why is the subject so neglected today?

An eight-part series, “God’s Prophetic Timetable,” will be led by Paul Campbell at Winona Lake Free Methodist Church, 902 College Ave., Winona Lake.

The series will begin at 6 p.m. April 14.



All-You-Can-Eat Breakfast Is Saturday

God's Highway To Heaven, 555 W. Webber St., Warsaw, will have an all-you-can-eat breakfast from 7 to 10 a.m. Saturday.

The menu will include sausage gravy, bologna gravy, biscuits, eggs, bacon, sausage,potatoes, apples and drinks.

Cost is $6 for adults age 10 and older and $3 for children ages 3 to 9.



Ham/Bean, Sausage/Sauerkraut Saturday

Warsaw Family Worship Center is having an all-you-can-eat ham and bean, sausage and sauerkraut, and cornbread supper.

The meal will be from 5 to 7 p.m. Saturday at the church, 1250 Husky Trail next to Martin’s Super Market. Desserts and drinks are included.

Donations will be accepted at the door.  



Lenten Service Sunday At Otterbein

 ATWOOD – Otterbein United Methodist Church invites the community to a special Lenten service at 6:30 p.m. Sunday.  

The service will be a time of praise and worship.

Special guest for the service is retired pastor Burt Kite. Kite will share his insights into John Wesley, the founder of Methodism. Kite has been portraying Wesley for many years.  

An offering will be taken during the service to help fund projects at the Indiana Conference’s summer camps and to provide money for children to go to camp.

Final Stations Of The Cross Planned Friday

The final Stations of the Cross at St. Anne’s Episcopal Church will be at 5:30 p.m. Friday in the sanctuary.  

Everyone is welcome to journey through 14 stations depicting events from the condemnation of Christ through His crucifixion.



‘Live In Grace’ At Good Shepherd Sunday

WINONA LAKE – The church of the Good Shepherd invites the public to “Live in Grace” at 10:30 a.m. Sunday.

The Grace College student music group “Live in Grace” will lead worship, and Dr. Trent Lambert will speak on something “epic” based on Luke 24:1-6 and Philippians 3:13.

The Church of the Good Shepherd is an independent church whose mission is to bring honor and glory to God, the heavenly Father, and to Jesus Christ, his son and the Lord and Savior.

Education hour starts at 9:15 a.m. with a study of the book of James. Nursery care is available.

The church is at 708 College Ave., Winona Lake.



Fish Fry Planned April 13 At Mount Tabor

ETNA GREEN – Mount Tabor Church of God is planning a fish fry from 4 to 7 p.m. April 13.

Cost is $10 for adults, $6 for children, and free for those 5 and younger. Carry-outs will be available.

An Amish bake sale is also planned.

The church is at 8424 N. 900 W., Etna Green.



Community Easter Egg Hunt Is April 13

PIERCETON – Harvest Community Church is planning a community Easter egg hunt.

The event will be at 11 a.m. April 13.

The church is on Seventh Street in Pierceton.



Eggmazing Race April 20 In Leesburg

LEESBURG – Leesburg Grace Church is planning an Eggmazing Race on April 20.

Contestants in the Eggmazing Race will be given seven clues to find seven stations. Each station will award Easter candy to kids. A $250 gift card will be awarded to the team with the fastest time (not necessarily the first to finish).

Light refreshments will be provided.

The race begins at 3 p.m. at the church. Teams must be finished by 6 p.m. The gift card will be given shortly after 6 p.m.

People may enter the race as families, couples or individuals. Each team must provide its own vehicle.

The church is at 101 W. School St. in Leesburg.



Breakfast, Rummage Sale Saturday

NEW PARIS – Bethany Church of the Brethren will have its annual pancake and sausage breakfast and rummage sale on Saturday.

Breakfast will be served from 6 to 9 a.m. Freewill donations will be accepted.

The rummage sale begins at 6 a.m. and runs through 2 p.m. Items include children’s clothes, toys, baby items, furniture, household items, jewelry, bunk bed, electric fireplace heater, office chairs, antiques and many miscellaneous items.

The church is at 19003 U.S. 6, New Paris, 1 mile east of Ind. 15.

Revival Continues At Pentecostal Lighthouse

Revival meetings continue this week at Pentecostal Lighthouse.

The meetings are at 7 p.m. today through Saturday and 10 a.m. and 6 p.m. Sunday.

Josh and Emily Bowman of Grundy, Va., will be at the meetings today and Friday.

The Rev. Charlie Trout of Victory Rock will speak Saturday.  

The 10 a.m. service Sunday will have the Rev. Glen Hughes,  while Walter Charles will be at the 6 p.m. service.  

Everyone is invited.

Otterbein UMC Easter Egg Hunt Is April 13

ATWOOD – Otterbein United Methodist Church’s annual community Easter egg hunt is planned for 1 p.m. April 13.

The Easter egg hunt will be on the grounds behind the church, at 306 E. Main St. (Old U.S. 30) in Atwood.  

Children will be divided into age groups and sent out at different times. People will gather in the church basement, where there will be activities for the kids as they wait for their turn to hunt for eggs. Refreshments will be served as each group comes back, and storytime for all will follow.  

There is no cost for this event. Everyone is welcome.

ATWOOD – A men’s breakfast is planned for 7 a.m. April 13 at Otterbein United Methodist Church in Atwood.

Men gather at the church the second Saturday of each month a time of the three “F’s” – food, fellowship and fun.   Following a  hot meal, there is a time of sharing in a devotional.

Men and boys of all ages are welcome.

Anchored Trio To Sing Sunday In Silver Lake

SILVER LAKE – The Anchored Trio will present a gospel concert at 6 p.m. Sunday at Silver Lake Wesleyan Church.

Anchored Trio is made up of Kelly Cheney, Lori Holder and Stacy Jefferies – three soloists who have joined together.  The singers, who share a love for the Christian gospel, will share a variety of songs from bluegrass, southern gospel, traditional hymns to contemporary Christian music.

There is no admission charge to the concert, but a freewill offering will be received.

The church is at 106 W. Walnut St. in Silver Lake, one block north of the stoplight and one-quarter block west of Ind. 15. Parking is north of the church. Enter the east entrance, upper level.
