The following people were preliminarily charged and booked into the Kosciusko County Jail:

• 12:06 p.m. Tuesday - Nicholas J. Lawrence, 35, of 2601 E. Evergreen Drive, Warsaw, arrested for failure to appear - misdemeanor. Bond: $500.

• 1:05 p.m. Tuesday - Damon Tyrone Goins, 44, of 18608 Ind. 331, Tippecanoe, arrested for probation violation - felony. No bond set.

• 6:41 p.m. Tuesday - Everardo Cacahua Ahuatl, 26, of 1692 E. CR 200N, #205, Warsaw, arrested for failure to appear - misdemeanor. No bond set.

• 2:14 a.m. today - George Edward Freyn, 61, Algonquin, Ill., arrested for disorderly conduct. Bond: $300.

• 2:42 a.m. today - Jeremy Michael Learned, 26, of 3531 W. Ind. 14, Silver Lake, arrested for possession of methamphetamine and possession of paraphernalia. Bond: $5,250.

• 2:55 a.m. today - Trey Michael Burbank, 25, of 11144 S. County Farm Road, Silver Lake, arrested for possession of methamphetamine and possession of paraphernalia. Bond: $5,250.



Personal Injury Accidents

• 8:14 p.m. Monday - Intersection of South McKinley and East Jefferson streets, Warsaw. Semi-tractor trailer and SUV collision. Drivers: Gregory O. Slovak, 58, Dallas, Ga.; Goldie M. Goble, 73, South CR 100W, Claypool. Injuries: Goldie Goble complained of pain to the knee and lower leg and was taken from the scene; Ean M. Goble, 17, West CR 550S, Claypool, a passenger in Goldie’s SUV, complained of head and neck pain and was later checked out at Kosciusko Community Hospital. Slovak was issued a ticket for disregarding a stop sign. Damage: $25,000-$50,000. Warsaw Police Department investigated.

• 4:27 p.m. Tuesday - East Center Street, 200 feet west of Eastlake Drive, Warsaw. Pickup-car collision. Drivers: Joshua S. Bailey, 28, East Center Street, Warsaw; Saandeep Mani, 33, Salman Drive, Warsaw. Injury: All passengers and drivers were checked out at the scene by EMS and cleared; Archana Saranathan, 33, Salman Drive, Warsaw, a passenger in Mani’s car, complained of head pain. Damage: $5,000-$10,000. WPD.



Property Damage Accident

• Noon Monday - Intersection of North Seth Ward and North Pawnee roads, Syracuse. Two-pickup collision. Drivers: Louis G. Machlan, 64, Fort Wayne; Michael C. Workman, 27, East Garfield Street, Warsaw. Damage: $10,000-$25,000. Kosciusko County Sheriff’s Office investigated.



Incidents

• 4:10 a.m. Monday - Theft of a cellphone from a parked vehicle was reported in the 1900 block of East Jefferson Street, Warsaw. Loss: $300. WPD.

• 1:19 p.m. Monday - The theft of tools was reported in the 100 block of EMS T13E Lane, Leesburg. Loss: $5,800. KCSO.

• 1:30 a.m. Tuesday - A fraud over the telephone was reported in the 4300 block of North Lighthouse Drive, Warsaw. Loss: $3,000. KCSO.

• 7:02 a.m. Tuesday - A rake fell out of a vehicle and a pickup ran over it, causing damage, in the 8100 block of East McClintic Road, Syracuse. KCSO.

• 7 a.m. Tuesday - A burglary was reported in the 200 block of South High Street, Warsaw. Taken were drugs, an insulin syringe, money and debit/credit cards. Loss: $798. WPD.

• 11:35 a.m. Tuesday - A woman in the 7300 block of East CR 500S, Pierceton, reported receiving a call about a refund and used Google cards to send money and was frauded. Loss: $600. KCSO.

• 4:22 p.m. Tuesday - Sexual acts were investigated in the 3500 block of Commerce Drive, Warsaw. WPD.

• 3:19 a.m. today - A residential entry was reported in the 1700 block of Tippecanoe Drive, Warsaw. WPD.
