• 10:48 a.m. Monday - Rachel Beth Kratzer, 35, of 2118 S. Packerton Road, Warsaw, arrested for failure to appear - original charge misdemeanor and driving while suspended with a prior. No bond set.

• 11:25 a.m. Monday - Johnathan Allen Carpenter, 34, Columbia City, arrested for possession of meth 5 to 10 grams and possession of paraphernalia - misdemeanor. Bond: $10,250.

• 12:32 p.m. Monday - Andrew Tracy Anderson, 25, Goshen, arrested for burglary. Bond: $30,250.

• 3 p.m. Monday - Stephen Boyd Poe, 54, of 4491 S. Hummingbird Road, Claypool, arrested for resisting law enforcement. Bond: $600.

• 4:41 p.m. Monday - Troy Douglas Howard, 51, of 9523 E. Pixie Pkwy., Cromwell, arrested for failure to pay. Bond: $185.

• 5:24 p.m. Monday - Ashley Nicole Hughes, 35, of 43 EMS B16 Lane, Pierceton, arrested on two warrants in civil matters. Bond: $3,550.

• 6:13 p.m. Monday - Lesley Ray Henson, 37, of 3446 N. CR 650E, Warsaw, arrested for failure to appear - original charge misdemeanor and possession of a narcotic. Bond: $5,461.

• 7:42 p.m. Monday - Scott Francis Wellman, 45, of 2081 Chapman Lake Drive, Warsaw, arrested for possession of a synthetic drug. Bond: $600.

• 8:40 p.m. Monday - Jeremy D. Mabie, 37, homeless, Warsaw, arrested on three counts of failure to pay. Bond: $2,104.50.

• 10:46 p.m. Monday - Zachary James Oswalt, 25, Mishawaka, arrested for failure to pay. Bond: $336.50.

• 10:47 p.m. Monday - Misty Ann Kern, 38, of 340 E. Levi Lee Road, #120, Warsaw, arrested on two counts of failure to appear - misdemeanor and theft. Bond: $5,250.



Personal Injury Accident

• 7:34 p.m. Saturday - Intersection of South CR 1000W and West CR 900S, Claypool. Car-SUV collision. Drivers: Tertius Steyn, 22, East River Avenue, Warsaw; Kalista R. Dobbins, 19, East CR 225S, Akron. Injuries: Tertius Steyn had injury to his face and head and was flown to Parkview Regional Medical Center in Fort Wayne; Hope Steyn, 21, East River Avenue, Warsaw, a passenger in Tertius’ car, was pronounced dead at the scene; Dobbins suffered an injury to her wrist and was treated at the scene; Jaron D. Kidd, infant, East CR 225S, Akron, a passenger in Dobbins’ SUV, had a minor cut inside his mouth and was checked at the scene. Damage: $25,000-$50,000. Kosciusko County Sheriff’s Department investigated.

• 3:47 p.m. Friday - Kings Highway, 100 feet south of Rupe Drive, Winona Lake. SUV-pickup collision. Drivers: Tammy A. Williams, 43, EMS C27C Lane, Warsaw; Christopher P. Knecht, 42, East CR 1000N, Syracuse. Damage: $2,500-$5,000. Winona Lake Police Department investigated.

• 4:24 p.m. Saturday - South Main Street, 30 feet south of West Section Street, Milford. Car-pickup collision. Drivers: Christopher Johnson, 40, South Union Street, Warsaw; Caleb J. Froebe, 29, Elkhart. Damage: $5,000-$10,000. Milford Police Department investigated.

• 11:02 p.m. Friday - A domestic battery in the presence of a child was reported in the 1900 block of East Fort Wayne Street, Warsaw. WPD.

• 2:43 a.m. Saturday - A crash investigation resulted in an investigation of an impaired driver in the 200 block of EMS B61 Lane, Warsaw. KCSD.

• 5:03 a.m. Saturday - An auto theft was reported in the 2200 block of West CR 1200S, Silver Lake. The stolen vehicle had a gun inside it. KCSD.

• 9:08 p.m. Saturday - An employee of Panda Express in the 1100 block of Lake City Highway, Warsaw, reported finding a debit card. WPD.

• 8:53 a.m. Sunday - A runaway was reported in the 9400 block of North Ind. 13, Syracuse. KCSD.

• 10:08 a.m. Sunday - A person reported a bullet hole into the side of a pole building in the 4100 block of East Lakeview Trail, Leesburg, but it was later determined to be a rock thrown by a lawn mower that caused the hole. KCSD.

• 2:09 p.m. Sunday - A man in the 300 block of East Levi Lee Road, Warsaw, reported the theft of a handgun and a phone. Value: $1,200. KCSD.

• 2:26 p.m. Sunday - A theft from a motor vehicle was reported in the 100 block of EMS B13 Lane, Pierceton. Loss: $20. KCSD.

• 3:27 p.m. Sunday - A Warsaw Street Department sign was reported damaged from an automobile crash in the 900 block of Husky Trail, Warsaw. WPD.

• 11:48 p.m. Sunday - Two juveniles were detained for refusal to identify themselves and illegal consumption of alcohol by a minor in the 2300 block of East Main Street, Warsaw. WPD.

• 12:06 a.m. Monday - A person with multiple arrest warrants fled from officers with an off-road vehicle in the 12400 block of South CR 600E, North Manchester. KCSD.

• 9:30 a.m. Monday - A mother took a substance to police that she found at her house in the 5200 block of East CR 800N, Syracuse, to be tested for drugs. The item appeared to be a look-alike synthetic drug, and a report was made to be sent to juvenile probation. North Webster Police Department investigated.

• 10:41 a.m. Monday - A woman in the 1100 block of North Shaleview Court, Warsaw, reported someone used her information to buy a watch. KCSD.

• 10:50 a.m. Monday - An employee of Tippecanoe Valley School Corp. reported a student was out of control in the 100 block of West Center Street, Burket. KCSD.

• 4:19 p.m. Monday - A person was arrested on a warrant and charges were filed for possession of paraphernalia in the 500 block of East Market Street, Warsaw. WPD.

• 6:46 p.m. Monday - Criminal mischief was reported in the 100 block of EMS C19A Lane, Warsaw. KCSD.

• 9:21 p.m. Monday - The theft of four firearms was reported in the 2600 block of Parent Drive, Warsaw. Value: $1,550. WPD.
