NAPPANEE CITY PLAN COMMISSION
The City of Nappanee Plan Commission will hold a Public Hearing Thursday, October 11, 2018 at 7:00 p.m. in the Council Chambers at the Nappanee City Municipal Center, 300 W. Lincoln St., Nappanee, Indiana. The purpose of this Hearing is to conduct a Public Hearing on Petition #07-18-PLN filed by Jones Petrie Rafinski authorized agent for Culhane Investments, Indiana, LLC, P.O. Box 496 Nappanee, Indiana 46550.
The petitioner is requesting a Preliminary Plat approval for a 2 lot subdivision to be known as Fairmont Homes, LLC Minor Subdivision.
Record Legal Description (DR 2015-08303)
A part of the Southwest Quarter of Section 32, Township 35 North, Range 5 East, located in Union Township, Elkhart County, Indiana, and being more particularly described as follows:
Commencing at the Northwest corner of the Southwest Quarter of said Section; thence North 89 degrees 40 minutes 28 seconds East along the north line of the Southwest Quarter of said Section a distance of 1,178.00 feet to the northwest corner of Deed Record 2010-16333, Elkhart County Recorder, and being the point of beginning of this description; thence continuing North 89 degrees 40 minutes 28 seconds East along said north line a distance of 371.82 feet to the northeast corner of said Deed Record; thence South 0 degrees 20 minutes 48 seconds East along the east line of said Deed Record a distance of 379.12 feet; thence South 89 degrees 40 minutes 28 seconds West a distance of 303.04 feet; thence South 0 degrees 19 minutes 32 seconds East a distance of 10.15 feet; thence South 89 degrees 40 minutes 28 seconds West a distance of 70.50 feet to the west line of said Deed Record; thence North 0 degrees 05 minutes 32 seconds West along said west line a distance of 389.27 feet to the point of beginning and containing 3.26 acres, more or less.
A copy of such proposal is on file in the office of the Zoning Administrator of the City of Nappanee, Indiana, City Municipal Building, 300 W. Lincoln St., Nappanee, Indiana. Written objections that are filed with the office of the Zoning Administrator of the City of Nappanee before the hearing will be considered.
All concerned citizens will be offered the right to speak and voice their comment at the Public Hearing. The Public Hearing may be continued from time to time as may be found necessary.
Anyone who requires an auxiliary aid or service for effective communication, or a modification of policies or procedures to participate in a program, service, or activity of the City should contact the Office of the City Clerk-Treasurer, 300 West Lincoln Street, Nappanee, Indiana 46550, (574)773-2112, [email protected] as soon as possible but no later than 48 hours before the scheduled event.
