County Jail Bookings

The following people were preliminarily charged and booked into the Kosciusko County Jail:

• 11:21 a.m. Monday – Tara Lynn Purvis, 33, of 333 N. Park Ave., Warsaw, arrested in the 200 block of West Jefferson Street, Warsaw, for criminal trespassing and theft. Bond: $857.40.

• 2:15 p.m. Monday – Coty Michael Haynes, 27, of South Bend, was arrested in St. Joseph County, Mich., for auto theft. Bond: $5.750.

• 2:49 p.m. Monday – Harvey Truman Clutter, 63, homeless, Pierceton, was arrested at the Kosciusko County Jail for invasion of privacy. Bond: $1,500.

• 3:01 p.m. Monday – Jason Ryan Carver, 30, of Winston-Salem, N.C., was arrested at the Tippecanoe County Jail for battery. Bond: $600.

• 3:47 p.m. Monday – Ivan Pedraza, 34, of 3762 W. Old Road 30, Warsaw, arrested for operating while intoxicated with a prior. No bond listed.

• Michael Wayne Thomas, 25, of 4100 W. Country Drive, Leesburg, arrested in the 900 block of Anchorage Road for failure to appear - misdemeanor. No bond.

• 4:40 p.m. Monday – Dustin Jay Rink, 26, of 6873 S. Ind. 15, Claypool, arrested in the 100 block of North Lake Street, Warsaw, for failure to pay. Bond: $279.03.

• 5:05 p.m. Monday – Kimberly Alexis Huffer, 22, of 1202 Wooster Road #41, Winona Lake, was arrested for invasion of privacy. Bond: $1,500.

• 7:35 p.m. Monday – Alexander Wayne Montileaux, 24, of Summit, S.D., arrested for domestic battery and two counts of failure to appear. Bond: $5,250.

• 11:38 p.m. Monday – Kyera Tylee Homewood, 18, of 482 Clinic Court, Warsaw, was arrested for illegal consumption of alcohol by a minor. Bond: $400.

• 11:41 p.m. Monday – Monica Paila Rangel, 20, of 482 Clinic Court, Warsaw, was arrested for illegal consumption of alcohol by a minor. Bond: $400.



Personal Injury Accidents

• 1:31 p.m. Sunday – Ind. 13, 100 feet south of Ind. 14, Sidney. Rear-end collision. Drivers: Loren E. Raschle, 75, Lagro; and Margaret Beerbower, 54, Fishers. Raschle was transported to Kosciusko Community Hospital for facial bleeding. Beerbower was checked by EMS for body soreness, but not transported. Damage $10,001-$25,000. Kosciusko County Sheriff’s Department investigated.

• 3:49 P.M. Monday – West Market at South Washington streets, Warsaw. Vehicles collided in intersection. Drivers: Kathleen C. Workman, 78, Oriole Drive, Warsaw; and Yvonne M. Beach, 57, West Winona Avenue, Warsaw. Workman was transported to KCH with an injury to her shoulder-upper arm area. Damage $5,001-$10,000. Warsaw Police Department investigated.

Property Damage Accidents

• 11:50 a.m. Saturday – North CR 300E, 300 feet south of EMS T33 Lane, Warsaw. Driver lost control of vehicle, which then struck a highway sign. Driver: Roger P. Burger, 20, CR 25, Syracuse. Damage: $2,501-$5,000. KCSD.

• 4:05 p.m. Saturday – Parking lot on Eastlake Drive, Warsaw. Car-pickup collision. Drivers: Gary K. Love, 72, North Sawgrass Lane, Leesburg; and Darcy J. Bisson, 37, South Bend. Damage: $1,001-$2,500. WPD.

• 9:17 a.m. Sunday – CR 300N, 1,500 feet east of CR 150W, Warsaw. Driver said he drove around the road closed signs, then swerved to the right on to the bike path. He continued to the east about 200 feet until a skid loader blocked the path. He then swerved to the left, over the road onto gravel. He then drove east about 100 feet until hitting a bridge deck, then backed up and hit the bridge deck a second time, getting the rear tires stuck.  Driver: Frank R. Shell, 25, Old Colony road, Warsaw. The accident report said Shell admitted he had been drinking earlier. He was arrested for reckless driving. Damage: $10,001-$25,000. WPD.

• 9:20 a.m. Sunday – 3400 block of East CR 100N, Warsaw. Driver lost control of SUV, which left the roadway and entered a soybean field. Driver; Victoria S. Rutledge, 59, East CR 200N, Warsaw. Damage: $5,001-$10,000. KCSD.

•1:48 a.m. Monday – CR 1200W at CR 950S, Akron. Driver skidded through the intersection, causing his truck to roll and stop in a front yard. Driver: James D. Riddle, 25, West CR 950S, Akron. Damage: $2,501-$5,000. WPD.

• 12:23 p.m. Monday – Parking lot in the 2300 block of East Center Street, Warsaw. Car backed in to another. Drivers: Kyle O. Shuler, 21, East CR 200N, Warsaw; and Brent A. Mock, 35, Miner Driver, Warsaw. Damage: $2,501-$5,000. WPD.

• 4:07 p.m. Monday – South Ind. 15 at South Rosewood Drive, Warsaw. Rear-end collision. Drivers: Blake K. Luecke, 36, South Packerton Road, Warsaw; and Catherine Cooke, 46, Durham Court, Winona Lake. Damage: $5,001-$10,000. KSCD.
