Free Community Outdoor Movie Night Sept. 14 In Atwood

ATWOOD — Atwood Aldersgate United Methodist  Church will present a free community outdoor movie in its parking lot Sept. 14.

Festivities will begin at 7 p.m. with free hot dogs, popcorn, lemonade and more. The movie will begin as soon as it is dark enough; it will be projected onto the west side of the church building. Bring a lawn chair or blanket to sit on.

The church will be collecting nonperishable food donations for the Combined  Community  Services  Food Bank.

If the weather is bad, the movie will be presented inside the church.

All-You-Can-Eat Breakfast Saturday At Highway To Heaven

God's Highway To Heaven, 555 W. Webber St., Warsaw, will have an all-you-can-eat breakfast from 7 to 10 a.m. Saturday.

The menu will include sausage gravy, bologna gravy, biscuits, eggs, bacon, sausage, potatoes, apples and drinks.

Cost is $6 for people age 10 and older, $3 for children ages 3 to 9 and free for age 2 and younger.



Special Service ‘Almighty God, Immense Universe’ Sept. 16

WINONA LAKE — Winona Lake Free Methodist Church invites the public to a special morning worship service Sept. 16.

Jim Tague will present “An Almighty God and an Immense Universe.” “We all know that God is all powerful, but sometimes forget just how big and awesome He truly is,” Tague says.

The special service is at 10:30 a.m. The church also has Sunday school at 9:15 a.m. and coffee fellowship at 10 a.m.

The church is at 902 College Ave., Winona Lake.



Inquiry Meeting To Explore Catholic Faith Planned Monday

Sacred Heart Church is sponsoring an RCIA (Rite of Christian Initiation of Adults) inquiry meeting at 6:30 p.m. Monday in the Gathering Space of Sacred Heart  Church.  

RCIA is a process for those interested in learning about  the Catholic faith, for those interested in joining the Catholic  church and for any baptized Catholics who have not fully  practiced their faith and would like to renew  it.

The church is at 125 N. Harrison St., Warsaw. For more information, call 574-267-5842.



Beef And Noodle Dinner Planned Friday At Claypool UMC

CLAYPOOL — Claypool United Methodist Church will  have a beef and noodle dinner from 4 to 7 p.m. Friday.

Cost for the meal is $8 for adults, $4 for youth ages 7 to 12, and free for children 6 and younger. Those who bring a canned food item will receive 50 cents off the price of a meal. Carryout will be available.

All proceeds will go to church mission projects.

The church is at 302 E. Section St., Claypool.
