Man Pleads Guilty To Sexual Misconduct With Minor

A Warsaw man pleaded guilty to sexual misconduct with a minor in Kosciusko County Superior Court I on Thursday.

Judge David Cates took the plea of Matthew Glenn Schultz, 44, under advisement and set his sentencing for 9:30 a.m. Nov. 29.

The charge is a level 4 felony.

According to a probable cause affidavit filed June 28, a Warsaw Police Department officer responded to a report May 24 of sexual misconduct with a minor at 920 Anchorage Road, lot 19, Warsaw, which was the address listed for Schultz.

The minor – who was between the ages of 14 and 16 – told police Schultz took her phone and wouldn’t give it back to her unless she engaged in sexual activity with him, which she did.

Schultz admitted to another Warsaw officer that sometime in May he engaged in sexual activity with the underage girl.
