She was born May 1, 1916, in Bourbon, to James Arthur Hershberger and Aurel Ethel McCuen Hershberger. In 1936 she was married to Victor Binkley; he died in 1974. Dorotha re-married in 1994 to William Lee Sheets; he passed away in 2008.
Dorotha was a resident of Kosciusko County for the past 81 years, and she had worked for 22 years in the machine shop at DePuy in Warsaw.
She was a member of Warsaw Community Grace Brethren Church.
Dorotha lived a long and full life, she enjoyed sewing, but most of all she loved her family.
She will be lovingly remembered by her son, Curtis (Judy) Binkley, Florida; daughter, Sheila Poe, Warsaw; six grandchildren; seven great-grandchildren; and two great-great-grandchildren.
She was preceded in death by her parents, two husbands, two brothers and two sisters.
Visitation will be from 10 a.m. to noon Monday, Oct. 22, at Redpath-Fruth Funeral Home, 225 Argonne Road, Warsaw. Her funeral service will follow at noon, officiated by Pastor Andy Gavin.
Burial will follow with a graveside service at Stony Point Cemetery, Atwood.
