Wednesday Night Bridge

The Wednesday Night Bridge group had five tables this week, with Bob Mayer as host.

Winners were Joyce Latta, Dorothy Herring, Liz Frazzetta, John Wagley, Janet Wagley and John Stewart.

Interested bridge players are welcome to the weekly gathering. Call Janet Wagley at 574-268-1330 for more information.



Singles Meeting Friends

Katherine has secured a room at her apartment complex for the group’s Christmas party on Dec. 15.

Meat will be provided; people are asked to bring a dish to share. Details will be provided as the event gets closer.

Ray was heading south for his Florida home, one of the first in the group to head to warmer weather.

Singles Meeting Friends meets Wednesday evenings at the upstairs deli in Martin's Super Market, Warsaw.



Grace Thursday Bridge

Grace Thursday Bridge met this week with Edith Vitoux as hostess.

Winners were Karyl Smith, Sharon Tuttle and Ann Thallemer.



North Webster Community Center Senior Prime Enrichment

NORTH WEBSTER — Richard Blank was the bridge winner Thursday at the Senior Prime Enrichment Center.

Jean Cowan was second.

No games were played Tuesday.



Winona Literary Club

WINONA LAKE — The Winona Literary Club met Wednesday at the Robin Hood Community Center with 24 members and one guest present.

The meeting opened with Evelyn Mottweiler giving the collect and prayer.

Judy Widbin introduced the speaker, Bill Fawley, director and founder of All Things New. The women's drug and alcohol rehabilitation program has been in operation for about one year.

Business was conducted by President Paula Ibach, who thanked the hostesses for the day. Refreshments were served.

The next meeting will be Oct. 31.
