On Sunday, a woman filed a complaint with the Sheriff’s Department in regards to Greer being in her house and possibly high on drugs. When KCSD deputy Craig Summers arrived, he spoke with the woman who said at around 4:30 a.m. Sunday, Greer broke into her house. He entered her bedroom where she and a second woman were sleeping and took their cellphones. He told the women he had guns, AKs and 9 mm handguns in the car, which caused the women to fear for their lives and like they were not free to leave. Greer made the women repeat “they don’t exist” several times.

The first woman said Greer made threatening comments about people including children. He allegedly hit her and smashed several pictures and a television set before leaving the residence with the women’s cellphones in his possession.

Greer has a protective order prohibiting him from contacting the woman.

The other woman provided a similar account to police and said Greer kept saying, “they are nothing” and “they don’t exist.” He made the women repeat that.

Greer told the women they could not leave the residence. He then exited the bedroom, entered the kitchen and started breaking things. The two women managed to leave the home with a cellphone.

At around 5:54 a.m., Summers learned where Greer might possibly be. Upon arrival there, he spoke with a man who said he saw a man – later identified as Greer – open the trunk of his car as though he was looking for something. When the man confronted Greer, he got into a red Cadillac and drove away. The man said Greer stole two pair of boots and some clothing from his vehicle’s trunk.

At 6:17 a.m., officers learned of an unwanted person at another location. When Summers arrived, he saw a red Cadillac running idle in the driveway. As Summers activated his lights, the Cadillac backed out of the driveway and drove off. Summers pursued Greer for several miles until the Cadillac wrecked in Marshall County and Greer was taken into custody.

Summers spoke with another man who said his two grandsons were spending the night with him. The first grandson saw a man exit a vehicle parked in their driveway and entered the house without permission to talk to the other grandson who knows Greer through the Kosciusko County Work Release Program. While Greer was talking to the grandsons, he made them put their cellphones down. He tried to talk one grandson into leaving with him but the grandson refused, saying he was not feeling well. Greer then left the residence.

The charge of battery by bodily waste, a level 6 felony stems from a September incident, according to court documents filed Sept. 28.

On Sept. 17, KCSD deputy Shaun Mudd was dispatched to a possible theft and public intoxication. Mudd and other deputies arrived on the scene and found Greer, who was trying to throw up. EMS was contacted to perform a check-up on Greer.

Greer was taken to Kosciusko Community Hospital by EMS. He was in an agitated state and Mudd and other deputies helped hospital staff strap him to a bed. While this was happening, Greer spit on a deputy. For that charge, Greer’s bond was set at $2,000 surety and $750 cash.
