DENVER, Ind. – John Robert Mullinix, 79, Lehigh Acres, Fla., died on Saturday, Dec. 23, 2017, at Hope Hospice in Lehigh Acres, Florida.

Born Dec. 16, 1938, in Wabash County, he was the son of Floyd F. and Elizabeth D. Donaldson Mullinix. On Nov.  7, 1958, at the New Salem Church of the Brethren, he was married to Carol Viola Tom, who survives.

John was a member of the National Guard for six years and retired from R.R. Donnelley, where he worked for over forty years.  

Private burial was in Greenlawn Cemetery, Mexico, Ind.  

A graveside memorial service will be held at 11 a.m. on Thursday, Oct. 4 at Greenlawn Cemetery, Mexico, Ind., with Pastor John Clark officiating.

McClain Funeral Home, Denver, Ind., has been entrusted with arrangements.
