NOTICE OF PUBLIC HEARING DECLARING AN AREA IN THE CITY OF WARSAW, INDIANA, AS AN ECONOMIC DEVELOPMENT AREA, CONSOLIDATING THE NORTHERN ECONOMIC DEVELOPMENT AREA (AS EXPANDED) AND THE EASTERN TIF ECONOMIC DEVELOPMENT AREA AND CONSOLIDATING THE DEVELOPMENT PLANS FOR SAID AREAS

    Notice is hereby given that the City of Warsaw, Indiana, Redevelopment Commission (the "Commission") approved and adopted a Resolution 2018-09-01 (the “Resolution”), on September 10, 2018, which Resolution designates and declares an area within the City of Warsaw, Indiana (the "City") to be an economic development area and allocation area for purposes of tax increment financing (the “Expansion Area") to expand the existing Northern Economic Development Area (the "Area”), consolidates the Northern Area, as expanded, with the Eastern TIF Economic Development Area (the “Eastern Area”) (without modifying the previously established base assessments and the base assessment dates for the Northern Area and the Eastern Area) and consolidates the economic development plans for the Northern Area and the Eastern Area.

    Notice is further given that maps and plats of the Expansion Area and the Northern Area and Eastern Area as consolidated have been prepared and can be inspected at the office of the City Planner, 102 S. Buffalo Street, Warsaw, Indiana, 46580.

    Notice is further given that the Commission will conduct a public hearing on October 18, 2018, at 4:00 p.m. (local time), in the City Hall - Council Chambers, 102 S. Buffalo Street, Warsaw, Indiana, 46580 at which time the Commission will hear all persons interested in the proceedings and consider the objections of any person who has filed a written remonstrance to the proposed expansion and consolidation within the filing period and will consider taking final action on a confirming resolution designating and declaring the Expansion Area to expand the existing Northern Area,  consolidating the Northern Area, as expanded, and the Eastern Area and approving the consolidation of the plans for the Northern Area, as expanded, and the Eastern Area.  Written remonstrances to the Resolution and the actions provided for therein must be filed with the Commission at the office of the City Planner, 102 S. Buffalo Street, Warsaw, Indiana, 46580 by 2:00 p.m. (local time) on Thursday, October 18, 2018.
