Last Monday Euchre Club
Mary Wolford was the high winner at the Last Monday Euchre Club’s gathering this week at Warsaw Senior Center.
Most lones was Arlene Brooke, Mary Lou Laurino and Toni Wilson, while low was Bonnie Jagodzinki and Asenath Wilson.
The next meeting will be at 12:30 p.m. Dec. 17 at the Warsaw Senior Center.
Wednesday Night Bridge Group
Wednesday Night Bridge Group had three tables this week, with the following winners: Judy Stewart, Virginia Horn, Nannette Newland and Joyce Latta.
Janet and John Wagley were hostess and host.

Singles Meeting Friends
There were just five in attendance at Wednesday’s meeting at Tippe River Downs apartments in Vicki's building.
The Christmas party was the main topic for discussion. It will be at Katherine’s apartment complex gathering room off of Colfax next to the Courts of Colfax complex at 6 p.m. Dec. 15. RSVP's are requested for planning the amount of meat to prepare. Everyone is asked to bring a dish to share and a wrapped white elephant gift. Members may bring a guest.
A group will be attending the dinner show presented by the Lake Area Players this weekend at Quaker Haven Camp on Dewart Lake.
American Association Of University Women
The Nov. 17 meeting of the Warsaw American Association of University Women was held at the Community Room at Miller's Merry Manor.
Pat Redpath from Redpath-Fruth Funeral Home made a presentation on the importance of pre-planning your funeral. She said many people are reluctant to pre-plan but you are purchasing peace of mind for yourself and your family. She relayed many interesting points and the members had many questions.
For roll call, each member answered with something for which they are thankful.
During the business meeting, the members learned that over $350 was raised at the annual silent auction. This money is used to provide scholarships. Additional fundraising is taking things to Home Sweet Home, Kroger Rewards and the annual garage sale, which will be Memorial Day weekend in Milford.
President Marcia Cook read a poem on the importance of being optimistic.
Co-hostesses for the meeting were Deb Blatz, Becky Lambert, Stephanie Dutcheteau and Ruth Jones.
Four Seasons Ladies Bridge
WINONA LAKE – The Four Seasons Ladies Bridge group meet Wednesday at Grace Village.
Winners were Dian Cartwright, Judy Stewart, Peg Zimmerman and Sharon Hartz.
Hostess was Nannette Newland. Liz Frazzetta will be hostess for December.
Daughters Of The American Revolution
Agnes Pruyn Chapman DAR met Tuesday at Richards Restaurant, Warsaw, with nine members present.
Regent Kathy Gawthrop introduced Angie Briner, who gave a program on the 3B exercise program that she created and teaches. The 3 B's are body, brain and belief. They have recently added a fourth B, breathing. This is a safe, slowpaced exercise program geared for seniors. Most exercises are done with a chair. Briner said the program has made a positive impact on many seniors’ lives. They are able to do more activity than before after a typical 12-week course. The one-hour program meets three times a week at a church. There are 70 groups in Indiana.
After lunch, Gawthrop called the business meeting to order with the DAR opening rituals and read the president general's message.
She reported that two essays have been submitted for the DAR essay contest. Both are fifth-graders from Harrison Elementary School in Warsaw.
Items for homeless veterans were collected.
The next meeting will be at noon Jan. 22 at Richards.
Membership in Daughters of the American Revolution is open to any woman who had an ancestor who fought in or aided the patriot cause during the American Revolution. Contact Gawthrop at 574-527-2674 with any questions.

Grace Thursday Bridge met this week with Sharon Tuttle as hostess.
Winners were ?Joyce Latta and Nancy Dalton.
