Personal Injury Accidents

• 12:04 p.m. Thursday - Intersection of North CR 850E and East Koher Road South, Syracuse. SUV went off road and went into ditch. Driver: Mercedes Pena, 52, East Camelot Lane South, Cromwell. Damage: $1,000-$2,500. Injury: Pena complained of head pain and was taken to Kosciusko Community Hospital. Kosciusko County Sheriff’s Department investigated.

• 3:10 p.m. Thursday - Intersection of North Ind. 15 and Enterprise Drive, Warsaw. Three-vehicle collision. Drivers: Bobbie T. Stump, 36, East Fawn Avenue, Warsaw; Joseph F. Kiel, 35, Fort Wayne; Brittany L. Hooley, 27, South CR 1000W, Mentone. Injury: Hooley complained of neck pain and was checked out by medics at the scene. Damage: $10,000-$25,000. • 8:36 p.m. Thursday - North Ind. 13, 550 feet north of East CR 350N, North Webster. Car went off road and hit a tree. Driver: Mark A. Alfano, 56, East CR 300N, Warsaw. Injury: Alfano complained of leg pain and had a cut to his left ear but refused medical treatment. Damage: $5,000-$10,000. KCSD.

• 2:33 p.m. Friday - Intersection of South McClellan and Hackleman streets, Warsaw. SUV-pickup collision. Drivers: Dianna J. Shoemaker, 73, South Sherman Street, Warsaw; Jeffrey A. Lotz, 68, East CR 950S, South Whitley. Injury: Shoemaker complained of head pain and was treated at the scene by EMS. Damage: $5,000-$10,000. WPD.

• 12:25 a.m. Saturday - Intersection of North Detroit and Jalynn streets, Warsaw. SUV-car collision. Drivers: Aaron J. Valentine, 38, East Market Street, Pierceton; Danna G. Turcios, 20, North CR 175E, Warsaw. Injuries: Valentine complained of neck pain; Turcios complained of lower leg and knee pain; both signed off with medics refusing further medical treatment. • 5:45 p.m. Saturday - South Ind. 25, 2,000 feet south of West CR 250S, Warsaw. Car went off road and hit underbrush and small trees before coming to rest. Driver: Travis A. LaFollette, 26, East Center Street, Warsaw. Injury: Chelsea P. Wineland, 25, South Bruner Road, Warsaw, a passenger in the car, complained of pain to her back and was checked by medics at the scene but refused to be taken to a hospital. Damage: $2,500-$5,000. • Midnight Sunday - North Ind. 15, 200 feet south of West Monoquet Road, Warsaw. Unknown vehicle hit mo-ped and fled the scene. Driver remaining: Michael J. McGrath, 44, North Prairie Street, Warsaw. Injuries: McGrath was unresponsive but had minor bleeding coming from his ears and was taken to Lutheran Hospital in Fort Wayne by EMS; Shelly R. McGrath, North Prairie Street, Warsaw, a passenger on the mo-ped, complained of pain in the hand and was taken to Kosciusko Community Hospital. Damage: $2,500-$5,000. KCSD.
