• 1:09 a.m. today - Timothy Wayne Hackworth, 29, of 10080 S. CR 850W, Akron, arrested for operating a motor vehicle while intoxicated. Bond: $700.

• 1:48 a.m. today - David Paul Norris, 67, Elkhart, arrested for check deception and possession of paraphernalia. Bond: $883.95.

• 8:52 p.m. Sunday - A man in the 9600 block of East Genesee Lane, Cromwell, fled police when officers attempted to stop his vehicle. The suspect was apprehended after a short vehicle and foot pursuit. KCSD.

• 5:32 a.m. Monday - A property damage accident was reported in the 9900 block of North Ind. 15, Milford. A man was arrested for driving while judge a habitual traffic violator. KCSD.

• 12:29 p.m. Monday - A man reported being battered in the 400 block of East Center Street, Warsaw. WPD.

• 4:43 p.m. Monday - A welfare check was conducted in the 600 block of East Fort Wayne Street, Warsaw. WPD.

• 9:04 p.m. Monday - A domestic battery resulting in injuries was reported in the 6900 block of East May Lane, Leesburg. KCSD.

• 11:41 p.m. Monday - While an officer was working an accident involving a car hitting a deer in the 7900 block of North Ind. 13, North Webster, a traffic stop was made on another vehicle for passing and failing to change lanes for an emergency vehicle and operating a motor vehicle while intoxicated. KCSD

Correction

Due to an error at the Kosciusko County Jail, Kyle John Szoldrak was listed in Saturday’s "Public Occurrences" as being arrested on drug-related charges. He was neither arrested nor booked into the jail.
