The American Veterans Traveling Tribute Wall arrived in Warsaw Wednesday afternoon with a motorcade that ended on Indiana Avenue along the west side of Central Park. Among the groups participating in the motorcade were the Christian Motorcyclist Association Patriot Guard, ABATE, Indiana State Police, Kosciusko County Sheriff’s Department, Warsaw Police Department, Kosciusko County Coroner’s Office, and fire departments from Warsaw, Burket, Milford, Pierceton, Silver Lake and Syracuse. The replica wall will be assembled today. The first of several events honoring Vietnam veterans will begin at 5:30 p.m. today at Central Park. Other events will be part of First Friday on Friday and more events are planned for Saturday and Sunday.
