She was born on July 10, 1923, in Atwood, to Charles A. Hammer and Grace Leedy Hammer. On Dec. 24, 1941, she was married to Ned E. Miller, who preceded her in death in 2004.
She graduated from Mentone High School and was a life-long member of the United Methodist Church.
Surviving her are two daughters, Mrs. Ed (Sandra) Michaels and Mrs. David (LuAnn) Pope, four grandchildren and six great-grandchildren.
A graveside service will be conducted at 2 p.m. Wednesday, May 16, 2018, at Oakwood Cemetery in Warsaw and officiated by Pastor Jason Rice. Arrangements were entrusted to Redpath-Fruth Funeral Home, 225 Argonne Road, Warsaw.
