Warsaw Lady Tigers Fall To Northridge

That proved to be the difference in a 4-2 Northern Lakes Conference softball loss to the visiting Northridge Lady Raiders.
Warsaw broke a scoreless tie with a run in the fourth inning and later scored in the sixth to cut the deficit to 3-2.
Northridge, a 6-1 winner over Warsaw back on April 25 in Middlebury, scored an insurance run in the seventh inning to account for the final score.
Warsaw fell to 8-11 overall and 6-6 in the NLC, while Northridge improved to 14-4 and 11-1.
Katie Anderson and Adara Frey had two hits each for the Lady Tigers.
Courtney Chookie was charged with the loss in the circle after giving up six hits and four runs in seven innings of work.
Northridge’s Allison Hostetler went the distance en route to the win. She gave up five hits and two runs while striking out nine.
The Lady Tigers are in action again Monday in an NLC?game at Concord.
