WCHS To Host Senior Scholarship Award Dinner May 15

Warsaw Community High School will hold its senior scholarship award night at 7 p.m. Tuesday in the Performing Arts Center.

Scholarship opportunities are available to local high school seniors through many avenues including family memorials, local schools and businesses, individual trusts and the Kosciusko County Community Foundation.

The public is invited to attend.

 

Passport Day In Syracuse Saturday

SYRACUSE – A Passport Day event will be held at several U.S. Post Office locations in Indiana, including Syracuse, on Saturday.

The cost of a passport is $145 for adults 16 and up, with separate fees of $35 to the postal service as a processing fee and $110 to the U.S. State Department for the passport application fee.

To help the process go smoothly, the Postal Service recommends bringing proper proof of American citizenship, proof of identity and a passport photo (available on site for $15). Customers can download a passport applications at www.travel.state.gov.

The Syracuse Post Office is open from 9 to 11 a.m. on Saturdays.
