The following people were preliminarily charged and booked into the Kosciusko County Jail:

• 9:45 a.m. Tuesday - Jordon Keith Costello, 30, of 30 EMS B61I1 Lane, Warsaw, arrested for battery with bodily injury. Bond: $600.

• 12:57 p.m. Tuesday - Deon Lee Vanness, 22, Carrboro, N.C., arrested for failure to appear. Bond: $367.45.

• 2:24 p.m. Tuesday - Linda Sue Mallane, 59, Goshen, arrested for failure to appear - original charge infraction. Bond: $500.

• 2:27 p.m. Tuesday - Michael Lee Manges, 32, of 522 Turtle Bay Drive, Syracuse, arrested for failure to appear - original charge misdemeanor and on a warrant in a civil matter. Bond: $1,291.

• 6:19 p.m. Tuesday - Jennifer Lee Yates, 30, of 9834 E. Chickadee Drive, Cromwell, arrested on two counts of failure to appear - original charge misdemeanor. No bond set.

• 6:41 p.m. Tuesday - Ashley Rae Marie Ruiz, 31, Goshen, arrested for failure to appear - misdemeanor. No bond set.

• 7:42 p.m. Tuesday - Dustin Jeremiah Sieglinger, 34, of 81 EMS W30 Lane, North Webster, arrested on a warrant in a civil matter. Bond: $500.

• 7:55 p.m. Tuesday - Alexis Erin Davies, 33, of 939 E. Garfield St., Warsaw, arrested for three counts of failure to appear - original charge misdemeanor; possession of a narcotic; possession of paraphernalia - misdemeanor; possession of a syringe for a legend drug; theft. Bond: $5,992.

• 12:01 a.m. today - Joshua Cone Jr., 37, of 9529 E. Ponderosa Drive, #46, North Webster, arrested for domestic battery. Bond: $1,000.

Property Damage Accidents

• 1:24 p.m. Monday - Market Street, 3,500 feet west of Pine Street, Warsaw. Driver of a City of Warsaw pickup truck forgot to retract the boom on the vactor truck; while driving westbound on Market Street with boom elevated, it made contact with two separate telephone lines crossing the road hanging overhead, causing the lines to break and the high tension power lines to activate a breaker. Driver: Brandon L. Newcomer, 30, North Franklin Street, Mentone. Damage: $2,500-$5,000. Warsaw Police Department investigated.

• 1:33 p.m. Tuesday - 1200 Lake City Highway, Warsaw. SUV-car collision. Drivers: Teresa D. Banghart, 51, West CR 800S, Claypool; Glenn P. Johnson, 72, North Ind. 19, Etna Green.  Damage: $2,500-$5,000. WPD.

• 2:14 p.m. Tuesday - Intersection of East Market Street and South Maple Avenue, Warsaw. Two-car collision. Drivers: Natalia K. Plastow, 19, South Meadow Drive, Warsaw; Janice L. Craft, 52, East Washington Road, Pierceton. Damage: $2,500-$5,000. WPD.

• 3:15 p.m. Tuesday - Intersection of North Ind. 15 and West CR 350N, Warsaw. SUV-van collision. Drivers: Austin J. Owens, 21, West CR 200N, Warsaw; Janet K. Miller, 71, EMS C28A Lane, Warsaw. Damage: $2,500-$5,000. WPD.



Incidents

• 3:10 a.m. Monday - In the 100 block of North Main Street, Milford, an officer attempted to stop a person on a bicycle swerving all over the road. The person did not stop right away for the officer. Milford Police Department investigated.

• 10 a.m. Tuesday - A man reported he had money stolen out of his work truck while parked at a job site in the 13300 block of North Old 15, Milford. Loss: $600. MPD.

• 10:09 a.m. Tuesday - A man reported the theft of a license plate in the 200 block of North McKinley Street, Warsaw. WPD.

• 6:20 p.m. Tuesday - An employee of Big R in the 3600 block of Commerce Drive, Warsaw, reported the theft of a bandana and clothes. Syringes and paraphernalia also were found. Value: $8.45. WPD.
