NORTH MANCHESTER — Beverly Jane Stieglitz, 90, Warsaw, died at 4:07 a.m. March 25, 2018, in Mason Health Care Center, Warsaw.

She was born Aug. 19, 1927, in Leesburg, to Wilbur O. and Mildred Stookey Klopenstein. She was married to Adolph Stieglitz in June 1950 in New Salem Church of the Brethren, Kosciusko County. He passed away in May 1977.

She was a homemaker and did clerical work for Wabash Clinic and Indiana Lawrence Bank. Before she was married, she worked at the Kosciusko County Courthouse.

She was a member of the United Methodist Church, North Manchester.

She graduated from Leesburg High School in 1945. She enjoyed to read, quilt and do counted cross stitch. She loved her grandchildren and traveling to see them, riding bikes around North Manchester, gardening and walking the dog.

Survivors include two sons, Tom (Barbara) Stieglitz, Rockford, Ill., and Joe Stieglitz, Sanbornville, N.H.; two daughters, Kathy (Don) Rinearson, Rancho Viejo, Texas, and Cindy Beyerlein, Lancaster, Pa.; a brother, Richard (Peg Kamera) Klopenstein, Greenville, N.C.; six grandchildren; and seven great-grandchildren.

She was preceded in death by her parents; a brother, Don Klopenstein; a sister, Ruth Stutzman; and two grandchildren.

A graveside service is planned for 3 p.m. May 18 in Fairview Cemetery, CR 300E, one mile north of Servia. Pastor Denny Bollenbacher will officiate.
