NORTH WEBSTER — Susanna J. “Sue” Cox, 82, Leesburg, passed away at 8:21 p.m. Saturday, March 24, 2018, at Kosciusko Community Hospital, Warsaw.

She was born July 11, 1935, in Marion, to Roscoe and Josephine Griffin Thrailkill.

She attended Van Buren High School and was married on Feb. 15, 1953, in Van Buren, to Chester L. Cox, who survives.

She was a homemaker and moved to Leesburg in 1991 from Marion.

She was a member of the Fisher Body Sympathy Club and former member of the Pentecostal Church in Marion.

She is survived by her husband, Chester Cox, Leesburg; a daughter, Barb Cox, Muncie; a son, Gregory (Sandra) Cox, Kendallville; two granddaughters, Amanda (Brad) Hinen and Heather (Phil) Perlich; four great-grandchildren: Paige, Chase, Trey and Emmalynn Jane; two sisters, Mary (Guy) Bollinger, Albany, and Darlene (James) Benbow, Kendallville; two brothers, Floyd (Carolyn) Thrailkill, Hartford City, and Robert “Daniel” (Jenny) Thrailkill, Sun City, Ariz.; and several nieces and nephews.

She was preceded in death by her parents and a brother, Roscoe Thrailkill Jr.

There will be no public visitation or services. A private graveside service is planned at Mount Etna Cemetery.

Owen Family Funeral Home, North Webster, is in charge of arrangements.
