St. Anne’s Announces Holy Week Services

All are invited to come and worship at St. Anne’s Episcopal Church during Holy Week.  

Holy Week begins Sunday with Palm Sunday services at 8 and 10:15 a.m.

Maundy Thursday service is at 7 p.m. March 29. This is a service that re-enacts Jesus’ washing of the disciple’s feet. A foot washing and Holy Communion will be offered at the solemn celebration.  

Good Friday service will begin at 7 p.m. March 30.  

Easter services will be at 8 and 10:15 a.m. April 1. Bring bells to ring at the great Alleluia.

‘I Choose Christ’ Program Is Saturday

God’s Highway to Heaven is planning a service called “I Choose Christ” at 6 p.m. Saturday.

The focus of the program is choices we make in difficult circumstances, and about living for the Lord.

The church is at 555 Webber St., Warsaw.



Free Pizza & Movie Night March 30

LEESBURG — Leesburg Grace Brethren Church is planning a Good Friday family movie night and indoor picnic.

The picnic will be from 6 to 8 p.m. March 30 and is free. Pizza, popcorn and beverages will be provided.

The church is at 101 W. School St., Leesburg.



All-You-Can-Eat Breakfast Is Saturday

Warsaw Family Worship Center is having all-you-can-eat country breakfast from 7 to 10:30 a.m. Saturday.  

The meal will include biscuits and gravy, hash browns, scrambled eggs, sausage, bacon, fried apples, pancakes with syrup, milk, orange juice and coffee.

Donations will be accepted at the door.

The church is at 1250 Husky Trail, next to Martin's Super Market. For more information, call 574-267-7210.



Port-A-Pit Fundraisers March 30-31

His Hands & Feet International is planning Port-A-Pit fundraisers March 30-31 at the parking lot of JB’s Furnture.

Offerings both days will include chicken for $7.25, one-half slab of barbecue ribs for $8.50 and Pit-Tatoes for $4.25.

On March 31, Amish fried pies will be available for $4 each or $3 for $10.

Credit and debit cards are accepted.

The sales will go from 11 a.m. to 6 p.m. or until sold out.

Proceeds will benefit the organization’s Guatemala mission trip.



Men Following Christ To Meet March 31

WINONA LAKE — The next meeting of Men Following Christ is from 8 to 10 a.m. March 31 at the Alpha Dining Hall at Grace College.  

Todd Carlin will share his testimony and Don Clemens will speak on faith.

Men Following Christ is a Christ-centered meeting for men of all ages. This meeting is open to anyone looking to grow in their walk with Jesus Christ, as well as be inspired by speakers and the testimonies shared by other men.

The group meets from 8 to 10 a.m. the last Saturday of the month at Alpha Dining Hall at Grace. The public is welcome, and there is no charge to attend.

CLUNETTE — Clunette United Methodist Church invites you to come as you are for several gatherings during Holy Week and Easter.

Sunday, the Clunette UMC Choir presents its annual Easter cantata, “Redeemed.” The performance starts at 7 p.m., with refreshments following.

At 7 p.m. Wednesday, kids of all ages are invited to the annual Soul Searchers Easter Egg Hunt. Egg hunt, games, crafts and activities will continue until 8 p.m.

On Easter Sunday, April 1, the church will celebrate the resurrection of Jesus. A sunrise service will begin at 7:30 a.m., followed by a carry-in breakfast at 8 a.m. and the worship service at 9 a.m.

Clunette United Methodist Church is about 4 miles west of Ind. 15 on CR 600N.

Community Easter Egg Hunt Is Saturday

ATWOOD — A community Easter egg hunt is planned for 1 p.m. Saturday at Otterbein United Methodist Church.

The event will feature crafts, games, prizes and refreshments.

The church is at 306 E. Main St., Atwood.



Tidal Wave Of Fun Auction Saturday

GOSHEN — Antiques and collectibles, vacation getaways  and gift certificates are examples of the offerings that will be for sale at Community Church of Waterford’s Tidal Wave of Fun Auction on Saturday.

A meal featuring pulled pork sandwich or homemade cheesy potato soup, chips, dessert and drink as well as snack items, a bake sale and a silent auction will begin at 4 p.m. The live auction follows at 5:30 p.m.

The auction and dinner will be in the church’s facility at 65154 C.R. 21, southwest of Goshen.

Proceeds will support outreaches in Goshen.
