Celebration Saturday Will Honor Johnsons' 60th Anniversary

Butler and Elleree Johnson, Warsaw, celebrated their 60th wedding anniversary on Feb. 12.

Butler Johnson and the former Elleree  Owens  were married Feb. 12, 1958, in the Tazewell (Va.) Baptist Church by the Rev. Russell Asbury.

The Johnsons are the parents of Karen Seals and Pastor Rick and Martha  Johnson. Children Phillip Johnson, Larry  Howard and Lorene Howard are deceased.

The Johnsons have six grandchildren, 10 greatgrandchildren and four great-great-grandchildren.

A celebration in honor of the Johnsons’ milestone is planned from 2 to 4 p.m. Saturday at New Creation Fellowship Church, 315 N. Cedar St., Warsaw (behind Johnson Chiropractic, 427 E. Fort Wayne St.).

All are welcome to come  and celebrate and honor this  great milestone with the Johnsons.

The couple request no gifts.
