WCS Responds To Social Media Threat; One Student Arrested

Upon notification, Warsaw Police Department was immediately contacted and an investigation was initiated.
The student who made the threat was arrested and charges have been forwarded by Warsaw Police Department to the Kosciusko County Prosecutor's Office.
Warsaw Community Schools and the Warsaw Police Department are dedicated to a safe and secure learning environment, according to a news release from WCS.
“We would like to thank the individuals for coming forward with this threatening social media post. We highly encourage any students or adults seeing these types of threats towards individuals or threats to a positive school safety environment to contact local authorities or school administration,”?the release states.
