Laura Kent and Branden Sowers, both of Denver, Colo., announce their engagement.

Laura is the daughter of Mary and Michael Kent, Denver. She graduated from Regis Jesuit High School in 2010 and attended Creighton University. She is employed at University of Colorado Hospital.

Branden is the son of Carl and Laura Sowers, Warsaw. He graduated from Warsaw Community High School in 2009 and attended Purdue University. He works at Aramark at Coors Field.

The couple are planning their wedding for Oct. 26, 2018.
