Rally For Traditional Marriage March 17

A rosary rally for traditional marriage in America is planned for noon March 17 at the Sacred Heart School playground.

The rally is sponsored by America Needs Fatima, a campaign of the American Society for the Defense of Tradition, Family and Property. Those who attend will be praying to seek restoration of traditional marriage in America.

Evangelist At Faith Fellowship On Sunday

NORTH MANCHESTER — Evangelist Todd Bailey from Fort Collins, Colo., will have a special service at 10 a.m. Sunday at Faith Fellowship Church of Sidney, North Manchester.

Bailey “loves to minister to the lost, broken hearted, encourage the body of Christ and pray for the sick.” He uses humor to present powerful truths from the Word of God.

All-You-Can-Eat Breakfast Planned Saturday

God's Highway To Heaven, 555 W. Webber St., Warsaw, will have an all-you-can-eat breakfast from 7 to 10 a.m. Saturday.

The menu will include sausage gravy, bologna gravy, biscuits, eggs, bacon, sausage, potatoes, apples and drinks.

Cost is $6 for adults age 10 and older, $3 for children ages 3 to 9, and free for 2 and younger.



Conference Retreat Planned June 24-29

DONALDSON — Lindenwood Retreat and Conference Center will host the 2018 Conference Retreat June 24-29.

The retreat is designed to help attendees achieve a deeper prayer life, exemplified by the prayer life of Jesus and the early community of faith. Father Jerry Schweitzer will lead the retreat.

Cost is $300 for commuters and $600 to include overnight accommodations for one person. Meals and refreshments are included.

Check-in begins at 4 p.m. June 24 and the retreat concludes at 1 p.m. June 2. Registration deadline is June 20.

Swiss Steak Supper March 17 In North Webster

NORTH WEBSTER — North Webster Church of the Brethren is having a swiss steak supper from 4 to 7 p.m. March 17.

Cost is $10 for adults.

The church is at 7281 E. CR 600N, North Webster.



Breakfast Buffet Will Aid Terflinger Family

NORTH MANCHESTER — A breakfast buffet to benefit the family of Finley Terflinger is planned from 7 to 10 a.m. March 17 at North Manchester Congregational Christian Church.

The buffet will include biscuits and gravy, fried potatoes, scrambled eggs, pancakes, sausage links, fruit cups and drink. A freewill offering will be accepted; suggested donation is $5 per meal.

Finley is the 5-month-old daughter of Tim and Kara Terflinger. She began treatment for acute myeloid leukemia in February.

Members of American Legion Post 286 are partnering with the church to serve the breakfast.

In addition, a variety of baked goods will be sold, and “Finley Fierce” T-shirts will be available from 8 to 10 a.m.  For every shirt purchased, $14 will be donated to the Terflinger family.

Revival March 18-23 At Highway 13 Church

PIERCETON — Highway 13 Free United Baptist Church is having revival meetings with Pastors Tony Bradford and Elmer Conley.

The meetings will be at 6 p.m. March 18-23.

St. Anne’s Offers Two Sunday Service Styles

St. Anne’s Episcopal Church invites the public to come worship Sundays during Lent.  

Rite 1 Mass is at 8 a.m. This is a solemn, contemplative service with music only during Communion. Rite II’s service is at 10:15 a.m. This Mass uses contemporary language and music.
