Warsaw’s Thomas Kinch was selected as Kosciusko County’s Veteran of the Month for March. Kinch served with the U.S. Army’s Security Agency in Germany and Vietnam from 1967 to 1971. He then came home and worked for Warsaw Plating Works until it closed in 2001, then for Everest Excavating until his retirement. He’s currently a member of the American Legion, Veterans of Foreign Wars, 40&8 and Disabled American Veterans. Kinch also volunteers with the DAV’s Transportation Network, driving veterans to medical appointments in Fort Wayne or South Bend. Kinch (C) is with (L to R) County Commissioner Brad Jackson, county Veterans Affairs Officer Rich Maron and Commissioners Bob Conley and Cary Groninger.  Photo by Mark Howe.
