Sale of Real Property

    The City of Warsaw gives notice of its intent to sell real property identified as 302 E. Market Street, Warsaw, Indiana.  The property is available for inspection by appointment with the Warsaw Planning Office.

Terms of Sale:

    1. Sale price to be paid in full at closing;

    2. Closing to take place within thirty (30) days of acceptance of bid;

    3. Closing costs will be borne equally by City and Buyer;

    4. A purchase agreement must be signed;

    5. City will provide title insurance;

    6. City will provide a staked survey;

    7. The building is sold “as is” with no representation as to its condition;

    8. The tax identification number is 0473D1990;

    9. The minimum bid is $140,000.00;

    10. Bids will be accepted beginning the 26th day of March, 2018 at the Warsaw Planning Office.  Bidding will remain open for sixty (60) days.  All bids will be available for public inspection.

    11. The property may not be sold to a person who is ineligible under I.C. §36-1-11-16;

    12. A bid submitted by a trust (as defined in I.C. §30-4-1-1(a) must identify each:

    (a) Beneficiary of the Trust and

    (b) Settlor empowered to revoke or modify the trust.

    Anyone who requires an auxiliary aid or service for effective communication, or a modification of policies or procedures to participate in a program, service, or activity of the City of Warsaw, should contact the office of Jeremy Skinner, 102 S. Buffalo Street, Warsaw IN  46580/phone (574) 372-9550, as soon as possible but no later than 48 hours before the scheduled event.
