Bob served in the Marine Corps in World War II in Australia, the North Somalia Islands and the Pacific area for four years; and was a lifetime member of Post 49, Warsaw.
He married Frances E. Bricker of Oswego on Feb. 22, 1948. They moved to El Paso, Texas, in 1952; there they raised their two children.
Bob was secretary-treasurer for Whitfield Tanklines for 21 years and was a Shriner and member of the 32nd Masonic Lodge.
He retired in 1979 to Port Charlotte, Fla., where he volunteered for Meals on Wheels and served on the board of directors. He moved to Beaumont, Calif., in 2002 and was a member of Banning Methodist Church.
Bob is survived by his wife of 70 years, Frances; his son, Rodney (Frances) Hull, Houston, Texas; daughter, Vicki (Charles) Hulse, San Juan Capistrano, Calif.; four grandchildren; and six great-grandchildren.
