AKRON — Sandra J. Tough, 67, rural Akron (Rock Lake), died Saturday, June 23, 2018, at her residence.

She was born Nov. 13, 1950, in Dyersburg, Tenn., to Marvin and Mackie Essary Roberson. On Sept. 17, 1983, she was married to Thomas Tough. He survives in Akron.

A memorial service is planned for 2 p.m. Saturday, with visitation one hour prior, at Hartzler Funeral Home, 305 W. Rochester St., Akron.
