Nazarene Church Garage Sale June 28-30

The annual garage sale of the Church of the Nazarene in Warsaw begins today.

Sale hours are 8 a.m. to 5 p.m. today and Friday and 8 a.m. to noon Saturday. Toys, books, records, CDs, DVDs, clothing, and household and other miscellaneous items will be available.

The church is at 1654 Fisher Ave., Warsaw.



Down East Boys At Riverview Sunday

TIPPECANOE — The Down East Boys will give a gospel concert at 6 p.m. Sunday at Riverview Community Church.

In 30 years of performing, the Down East Boys have recorded 22 projects with more than 40 songs at the top of the Singing News charts. They have participated with several affiliate evangelists of the Billy Graham Evangelistic Association, and have performed at other conferences and conventions across the country.

There is no charge to attend the concert, but a love offering will be collected.

The church is at 3780 Ind. 110, Tippecanoe.



All-You-Can-Eat Country Breakfast Saturday

Warsaw Family Worship Center is having an all-you-can-eat country breakfast Saturday.

Breakfast will be served from 7 to 10:30 a.m. and will include gravy and biscuits, bacon, sausage, scrambled eggs, hash browns,  fried apples, pancakes and syrup, orange juice, milk and coffee. Donations will be taken at door.  

The church is at 1250 Husky Trail next to Martin's Super Market.



Healing School Session Begins July 11

NORTH MANCHESTER — Victory Christian Fellowship will have a new Healing School session, “Jesus the Healer,” beginning July 11.

The series will be from 7 to 8 p.m. for eight Wednesdays. Topics include “What is God’s will?” “Why are some not  healed?” and “What does the Bible say, as opposed to man’s traditions?”

Each session will be preceded by a time of prayer that begins at 6:30.

There is no fee for the school, and everyone is welcome. For more information, call the church office at 260-982-8357.

Men Following Christ Meets Saturday

The next meeting of Men Following Christ is from 8 to 10 a.m. Saturday at Alpha Dining Commons at Grace College.

The guest speaker will be Jeremy Graham, Maryville, Tenn., of True Purpose Ministries. Graham was born in Kentucky, where he began his life as an Army child. Moving to different states, Jeremy developed an addiction to drugs and alcohol. In 2000, after eight years of addiction and eviction from the Alabama National Guard for drug abuse, Jeremy gave his heart to Jesus Christ and studied to become a pastor. He felt the call to disciple men across the world to see them delivered from drugs and alcohol through the power of Jesus Christ. He holds an ordination with Extended Hand Ministries International. He founded True Purpose Ministries in 2009, and has five campuses in Tennessee and one in Warsaw.

Men Following Christ is a Christ-centered monthly meeting for men of all ages. This meeting is open to anyone looking to grow in their walk with Jesus Christ, as well as be inspired by speakers and testimonies shared by other men.

Breakfast is free to those who attend, and the public is welcome.

‘Machine Gun Preacher’ Speaking Tonight

GOSHEN — Sam Childers, known as the “Machine Gun Preacher,” will speak at Faith United Methodist Church at 7 tonight.

Childers is founder of the nonprofit Angels of East Africa, which aids children and victims of brutality in impoverished and war-torn countries such as South Sudan, Uganda and Ethiopia. He was awarded the Mother Teresa Memorial International Award for Social Justice in 2013.

 A love offering will be collected for Childers.

Grace Trust’s Annual Meeting July 25

The Grace Trust Inc., doing business as Encompass World Partners, will convene its annual corporation meeting at Grace Community Church of Fremont, 900 Smith Road, Fremont, Ohio, at 12:30 p.m. July 25.

The meeting will be held in conjunction with the ACCESS2018 National Conference of the Charis Fellowship, formerly the Fellowship of Grace Brethren Churches. All member church representatives and friends of Encompass World Partners are encouraged to attend. Note that as of 2017, members of the corporation are no longer individuals, but qualifying churches in the Charis Fellowship.

A ticket is required for the luncheon meeting. Tickets are $10 and can be purchased at access2018.com. Call Encompass World Partners at 678-992-5313 with any questions.
