Kosciusko County Sheriff’s Department is asking for the community’s assistance in locating a man responsible for damage to several vehicles northeast of Warsaw.

On April 22, May 12 and June 22, the KCSD responded to a residence in the 3300 block of North Old Farm Road, Warsaw, according to a Crime Stoppers “Crime of the Week” news release. During each incident, the homeowner was awaken to the sound of someone breaking out the windows of the vehicles parked in his driveway.

A security camera installed by the homeowner caught the suspect on video.

The suspect is a younger, white man wearing blue plaid shorts, black socks and black Under Armour slip-on sandals. The man is also carrying an older axe that he uses to bust the security camera before breaking out the windows of the vehicles.

If you have any information concerning this crime, call Crime Stoppers toll free at 800-342-STOP. Crime Stoppers will pay up to $1,000 if your information leads to an arrest or indictment. Crime Stoppers also pays cash rewards on other felony crimes and the capture of fugitives.

When you call, you will be assigned a code number and they won’t ask for your name.
