The following people were preliminarily charged and booked into the Kosciusko County Jail:

• 11:26 a.m. Wednesday - Jordyn Teresa Walker, 23, of 114 Rattington Circle, Warsaw, arrested for theft. Bond: $600.

• 2:40 p.m. Wednesday - William Burn Howard, 48, DeMotte, arrested on a warrant in a civil matter. Bond: $615.

• 2:54 p.m. Wednesday - Sheldon Glen Albright, 23, of 9222 S. Ind. 25, Rochester, arrested for probation violation - felony. Bond: $2,500.

• 8:04 p.m. Wednesday - Jeffery Lee Brewer, 34, of 8280 E. U.S. 30, #52, Pierceton, arrested for invasion of privacy. Bond: $1,500.

• 8:37 p.m. Wednesday - Christopher Todd Warren, 30, of 54 EMS B38B Lane, Leesburg, arrested on three counts of failure to appear - original charge felony. Bond: $5,964.35.

• 9:36 p.m. Wednesday - Scott Allen Krieg, 46, of 1011 S. Harkless Drive, Syracuse, arrested for operating a motor vehicle while under the influence. Bond: $700.

• 11:38 p.m. Wednesday - Cody Michael Morgan, 18, of 123 W. Van Buren St., Leesburg, arrested for possession of marijuana - misdemeanor. Bond: $600.

• 11:51 p.m. Wednesday - Todd Lawrence Moorlag Jr., 26, of 5831 Second St., Oswego, arrested for OWI with a BAC between .08 and .15. Bond: $700.

• 11:58 p.m. Wednesday - Charles Eugene Smith, 52, of 507 W. Huntington St., North Webster, arrested for possession of marijuana - misdemeanor and possession of paraphernalia - misdemeanor. Bond: $600.

• 12:15 a.m. today - James Dale Carter, 23, of 9057 W. Gilbert Lake Road, Cromwell, arrested for failure to appear - misdemeanor. No bond listed.

• 2:47 a.m. today - Nolan Kyle Melchi, 37, of 11732 N. Elm Grove Drive, Syracuse, arrested for intimidation - level 6 felony. Bond: $5,250.



Personal Injury Accident

• 6:36 a.m. Wednesday - Intersection of West U.S. 30 and North CR 150W, Warsaw. SUV-car collision. Drivers: Julie A. Hurd, 47, Hawthorn Drive, Warsaw; Stacy A. Grubbs, 39, West Hoffman Lake Road, Warsaw. Injury: Grubbs complained of pain to the entire body, was attended to by EMS and released. Damage: $10,000-$25,000. Warsaw Police Department investigated.

Property Damage Accidents

• 6:50 p.m. Tuesday - East Old 30, 500 feet east of North CR 450E, Warsaw. Car drove through downed tree. Driver: Wendell L. Powers, 37, Kimmell. Damage: $2,500-$5,000. Kosciusko County Sheriff’s Department investigated.

• 12:08 p.m. Wednesday - Intersection of East Jefferson and South Cleveland streets, Warsaw. Two-car collision. Drivers: Thomas A. Yoder, 78, Fort Myers, Fla.; Christine Blankenship, 55, North Poplar Street, Silver Lake. Damage: $2,500-$5,000. WPD.



Incidents

• 1:59 p.m. Tuesday - A traffic stop occurred in the 1800 block of West CR 700S, Claypool. An occupant of the vehicle was arrested for possession of methamphetamines. Claypool Police Department investigated.

• 12:41 a.m. Wednesday - Officers responded to a call about a threat to life in the 700 block of East Center Street, Warsaw. A person was arrested for a sex offense and criminal confinement. WPD.

• 7:52 a.m. Wednesday - A bicycle was reported found in the 100 block of East Canal Street, Warsaw. WPD.

• 1:18 p.m. Wednesday - A woman reported criminal mischief to her front door in the 1100 block of East Clark Street, Warsaw. Damage: $50. WPD.

• 2:17 p.m. Wednesday - A man reported criminal mischief to his vehicle in the 1300 block of Mariners Drive, Warsaw. Damage: $190. WPD.

• 5:16 p.m. Wednesday - An employee of McDonald’s in the 300 block of North Detroit Street, Warsaw, reported a juvenile trespassing. WPD.
