AKRON – Akron’s 4th of July Firecracker 5K registration is now open to support the Tippecanoe Valley High School cross country team. Sponsored by the Akron Las Donas Club, the race will take place at 8 a.m. at Akron Elementary School.
Registration can be done by visiting http://getmeregistered.com/AkronsFirecrackerRun and is open until July 2. Participants can also pick up forms at the Akron Lake City Bank, Viking Foods or the Akron Town Office prior to race day for $20. Registration will also be open from 6:30-7:30 a.m. on race day at the elementary school for $25.

Manchester Football To Host Golf Outing
NORTH MANCHESTER – To celebrate the rich tradition of Manchester University football, head coach Nate Jensen and his staff are pleased to announce the third year of the Kickoff Classic Golf Outing.
It will be held July 28 at Stonehenge Golf Club. Registration can be done by visiting https://ourmu.manchester.edu/pages/alumni-events/2018-kickoff-golf-classic.
