County Jail Bookings

The following people were preliminarily charged and booked into the Kosciusko County Jail:

• 7:07 a.m. Friday – Christina M. Martin, 44, of 363 N. East St., Warsaw, arrested for OWI with a blood alcohol content between .08 and .15 percent. Bond: $700.

• 8:44 a.m. Friday – Thelma Rose Watkins, 54, Elkhart, arrested for failure to appear-misdemeanor. Bond: $819.80.

• 11:26 a.m. Friday – Zachariah David Konkle, 28, of 3521 Lake City Highway #132, Warsaw, arrested for parole violation. No bond.

• 3:13 p.m. Friday – Chad M. Turner, 32, Delphi, arrested for intimidation-threaten forcible-felony. Bond: $5,250.

• 5:21 p.m. Friday – Jilleyne L. Bradly, 56, of 2632 E. Evergreen Drive, Warsaw, arrested for theft. Bond: $600.



Property Damage Accidents


• 2:37 p.m. Wednesday – North Pleasant Grove Drive, 1,000 feet south of East Cornelius Road, Syracuse. Truck backed in to a row of mailboxes. Driver: Richard D. Studebaker, 71, Columbia City. Damage: $750-$1,000. Kosciusko County Sheriff’s Department investigated.

• 1:02 p.m. Thursday – Private lot in the 900 block of North Detroit Street, Warsaw. Car backed into pickup. Drivers: kathleen M. Harper, 50, Shawnee Drive, Warsaw; Joyce E. Rodgers, 62, North CR 450E, Leesburg. Damage: $1,000-$2,500. Warsaw Police Department investigated.

• 3:25 p.m. Thursday – East CR 800S, 32 feet west of South CR 300E, Claypool. Dump truck leaving private property pulled out and struck car. Drivers: Ernst J. Knotz, 60, West Ind. 14, South Whitley; Holly L. Cordill, 33, East Main Street, Liberty Mills. Damage: $10,000-$25,000. KCSD.

• 10:18 p.m. Thursday – Ind. 19, 500 feet south of West CR 75N, Etna Green. Motorcycle swerved to miss an animal and left the roadway. Driver: Greg A. Eads, 42, 9B Road, Bourbon. Damage: $2,500-$5,000. KCSD.

• 12:37 a.m. Friday – Fisher Avenue, 500 feet south of Kincaide Street, Warsaw. Driver fell asleep at the wheel, car struck a mailbox and two sections of fence. Driver: Marcin Ormanier, Bielsko-Biath, Netherlands. Damage: $1,000-$2,500. WPD.

• 6:31 a.m. Friday – East U.S. 30, 1,000 feet west of South CR 900E, Pierceton. Car hit deer. Driver: Christopher C. Cornelius, 25, Knox. Damage: $2,500-$5,000. KCSD.

• 2:47 p.m. Friday – North Indiana Street at West Fort Wayne Street, Warsaw. Cars collided in intersection. Drivers: Betty S. Ousley, 71, East CR 600S, Warsaw; Andrew L. Shaw, 32, North Franklin Street, Mentone. Damage: $5,000-$10,000. WPD.

• 7:32 a.m. Thursday – A person reported an invasion of privacy and a person leaving the scene of an accident in the 100 block of West Prairie Street, Leesburg. KCSD.

• 9:22 a.m. Friday – An incident of intimidation was reported in the 4500 block of Tippecanoe Drive, Warsaw. WPD.

• 3:50 p.m. Friday – Incidents of theft, forgery and fraud on a financial institution were reported in the 4200 block of Old Ind. 15, Warsaw. KCSD.

• 3:52 p.m. Friday – A theft was reported in the 1100 block of Husky Trail, Warsaw. WPD.

• 5:46 p.m. Friday – A person was arrested for public nudity and public intoxication in the 200 block of West Jefferson Street, Warsaw. WPD.
