The following people were preliminarily charged and booked into the Kosciusko County Jail:

• 8:49 a.m. Thursday - Kenneth James Graff, 35, of 203 E. Van Buren St., Leesburg, arrested for failure to stop after an accident. Bond: $500.

• 6:55 p.m. Thursday - Alexander Wayne Montileaux, 24, of 2981 W. CR 200S, Warsaw, arrested for battery. Bond: $600.

• 4:19 a.m. today - Junie Cepeda Ibarra, 47, South Bend, arrested for dealing meth 1 to 5 grams, theft, fraud on a financial institution, corrupt business influence and forgery. Bond: $15,250.



Personal Injury Accidents

• 7:30 p.m. Wednesday - North Ind. 13, 300 feet north of North Ideal Beach Drive, Syracuse. Motorcycle hit deer. Driver: Terry W. Stidham, 50, Millersburg. Injury: Christina K. Stidham, 46, Millersburg, a back passenger on the motorcycle, complained of pain in her left ankle. Damage: $1,000-$2,500. Kosciusko County Sheriff’s Department investigated.

• 12:40 p.m. Thursday - Intersection of East Center Street and Eastlake Drive, Warsaw. Car-commercial truck collision. Drivers: Kali K. Bryant, 19, East U.S. 30, Pierceton; Edmund J. Leprie, 47, Kimmell. Injury: Leprie complained of back pain. Damage: $5,000-$10,000. Warsaw Police Department investigated.



Property Damage Accidents

• 9:40 p.m. Wednesday - South County Farm Road, 2,000 feet south of West Hoppus Road, Warsaw. SUV hit deer. Driver: Sarah M. Anderson, 35, North CR 250E, Warsaw. Damage: $5,000-$10,000. KCSD.

• 7:32 a.m. Thursday - Intersection of West Prairie and South Church streets, Leesburg. Car left road and hit tree belonging to Earl W. Barger, East Prairie Street, Leesburg. Driver fled the scene but was later found. Driver: Kenneth J. Graff, 35, East Van Buren Street, Leesburg. Damage: $5,000-$10,000. KCSD.

• 9:08 a.m. Thursday - South CR 1000W, 32 feet north of West CR 600S, Mentone. Car-SUV collision. Drivers: Dixie S. Secrist, 77, South CR 1000W, Mentone; Beverly J. Brubaker, 66, South CR 1000W, Claypool. Damage: $5,000-$10,000. KCSD.

• 2:54 p.m. Thursday - 1007 N. Warren St., Warsaw. Two-SUV collision. Drivers: Brenda R. Baker, 53, North Ind. 5, Cromwell; Cheryl D. Coburn, 57, Columbia City. Damage: $1,000-$2,500. WPD.

• 8:11 a.m. Wednesday - A woman in the 3600 block of North CR 175E, Warsaw, reported a vehicle title was fraudulently signed in order to transfer ownership. KCSD.

• 9:25 p.m. Wednesday - A person reported a pontoon was vandalized in the 300 block of Administration Boulevard, Winona Lake. Damage: $2,000. Winona Lake Police Department investigated.

• 9:31 a.m. Wednesday - A man in the 9700 block of North CR 300E, Syracuse, reported being scammed out of a large sum of money. KCSD.

• 12:33 a.m. Thursday - A woman was arrested for driving while suspended with a prior in the 700 block of North Lake Street, Warsaw. WPD.

• 7:32 a.m. Thursday - A hit-skip accident was reported in the 100 block of West Prairie Street, Leesburg. KCSD.

• 8:16 a.m. Thursday - A vehicle with a trailer drove through a back yard in the 2000 block of North Detroit Street, Warsaw, and caused damage. WPD.

• 9:23 a.m. Thursday - A woman in the 400 block of Westcreek Drive, Warsaw, reported the theft of a purse from a vehicle. Value: $120. WPD.

• 10:38 a.m. Thursday - A man in the 600 block of South Lake Street reported he had his backpack with an iPad in it taken from his vehicle. Loss: $500. WPD.

• 3:19 p.m. Thursday - An employee of the Elks Lodge in the 300 block of East Center Street, Warsaw, reported criminal mischief to the building. WPD.

• 8:25 p.m. Thursday - Cash and silver metal were reported stolen from a residence in the 100 block of EMS R4B1 Lane, Pierceton. KCSD.

• 12:11 a.m. today - A man reported a vehicle crashed into a fence but no one was around in the 7700 block of East CR 1300N, Syracuse. Damage: $500. KCSD.
