Waikel spoke with a man who said he had a locked enclosed cargo trailer at the corner of his business that was full of snowmobile equipment.

His surveillance camera shows a vehicle driving up to the side door of the trailer at about 11:30 p.m. April 11. The subjects broke the lock on the trailer door, opened it and stole approximately $10,000 of snowmobile equipment from inside the trailer.

A copy of the surveillance video shows a red Monte Carlo as the vehicle used in the burglary.

Goshen Police Department detective Tony Barkey told KCSD deputy Shane Bucher that on April 12, the GPD responded to a suspicious red Chevy Monte Carlo. The occupants in the vehicle included Wilson and Kawliga Stickler. Inside the vehicle, officers found a large amount of snowmobile gear. The gear was identified by the owner as the items stolen from the trailer on April 11.

Stickler admitted to Bucher he and Wilson took items from a cargo trailer. Wilson went into the trailer and handed the items out to him and he loaded them into the vehicle, court documents indicate.

Wilson then admitted to Bucher she and Stickler entered into a cargo trailer and removed snowmobile items.

An warrant for Wilson’s arrest was issued May 31.
