• 12:14 p.m. Monday - Intersection of East Winona Avenue and railroad tracks, Warsaw. Pickup hit by train as it was crossing the tracks. Driver: Reynaldo Rodriguez, 34, East Circle Drive North, Syracuse. Injury: Rodriguez complained of pain to the neck and was taken to Kosciusko Community Hospital. Damage: $10,000-$25,000. Warsaw Police Department investigated.

• 6:04 p.m. Friday - 615 N. Jefferson St., Silver Lake. Semi tractor-trailer hit overhang and lights belonging to Sands Mini Mart, North Jefferson Street, Silver Lake. Driver: Melissa A. Brown, 37, South Bend. Damage: $1,000-$2,500. Silver Lake Police Department investigated.

• 3:23 p.m. Saturday - East CR 250N, 1,000 feet east of East Kyle Road, Pierceton. Car swerved to avoid hitting another oncoming vehicle in its lane of travel and left the road, going through a yard and hitting a mailbox. Driver: Bernice King, 58, Columbia City. Damage: $2,500-$5,000. Kosciusko County Sheriff’s Department investigated.

• 11:58 p.m. Saturday - Intersection of West U.S. 30 and North CR 700W, Warsaw. Car hit deer. Driver: Anne M. Miller, 41, Fort Wayne. Damage: $2,500-$5,000. KCSD.

• 2:41 a.m. Sunday - East CR 450N, 500 feet west of North CR 375E, Warsaw. A pickup registered to Jordan E. Stone, North CR 100E, Warsaw, left south side of road, hit a tree; vehicle appeared to have flipped in the road and came to a rest on East CR 450N. A witness saw the driver exit the window and take off on foot and identified the driver as the owner of the pickup. The driver was not found. Damage: $10,000-$25,000. KCSD.

• 3:05 a.m. Sunday - North Old 15, 2,000 feet south of West Levi Lee Road, Warsaw. Norfolk Southern Railroad notified KCSD of a wrecked car along the tracks. Upon arrival, there were no occupants and it appeared the vehicle left the west side of the road for an unknown reason and hit a large pile of railroad ties, splitting several of them. Vehicle registered to Kenneth J. Graff, East Van Buren Street, Leesburg, who said he didn’t know it was missing and was not driving the car. Damage: $5,000-$10,000. KCSD.

• 10:22 p.m. Sunday - North Lake Street, 15 feet north of Union Street, Warsaw. SUV hit parked car registered to Andrew M. Blauvelt, North Lake Street, Warsaw. Driver: Mayra E. Cervantes, 22, Nye Street, Warsaw. Damage: $10,000-$25,000. WPD.

• 5:23 a.m. Monday - East Ind. 14, 2,100 feet west of South Packerton Road, Silver Lake. Commercial semi-trailer went off road, into ditch and into corn field belonging to Terry L. Rosenbarger, East Ind. 14, Silver Lake; vehicle remained upright until driver attempted to back out onto roadway and then it tipped on its side. Driver: Garth E. Ellenberger, 66, Fort Wayne. Damage: $50,000-$100,000. KCSD.

• 11:51 p.m. Friday - A car was stopped in the 5900 block of West CR 950S, Silver Lake, for driving left of center and upon further investigation, the male driver was arrested for driving while suspended, drug charges and false informing. Claypool Police Department investigated.

• 7 a.m. Monday - An employee of the town of Leesburg reported the theft of two Bee hive storm drains in the 100 block of South Pearl Street, Leesburg. Loss: $600. KCSD.

• 8:36 a.m. Monday - A man was arrested for criminal trespassing in the 200 block of St. Augustines Drive, Warsaw. WPD.
