Men Following Christ To Meet
WINONA LAKE — The next meeting of Men Following Christ is from 8 to 10 a.m. Saturday at Grace College, with Pastor Charles Parris as guest speaker.
Parris was born into a very poor family. His brother had a rare disease that killed their grandfather and his brothers at the age of 40. Parris and his brother were diagnosed with the same disease. Doctors told the brothers that they would have a very short life span. Parris’ brother died at age 41, but Parris, who was born in 1950, is active in ministry today.
Parris was saved at an early age and has a strong faith. He told everyone that they did not know the God he served, and said, “He is my healer.”
Charles is the founder of Extended Hand Ministries International and Church and has pastored EHC for 40 years. He has evangelized in Alabama, Georgia, Texas, Tennessee, Mexico, India and Australia, among other places. He resides with his wife in Piedmont, Ala.
Men Following Christ is a Christ-centered monthly meeting for men of all ages. This meeting is open to anyone looking to grow in their walk with Jesus Christ, as well as be inspired by the speakers and testimonies shared by other men.
The group meets from 8 to 10 a.m. the last Saturday of the month at Alpha Dining Hall at Grace College. Breakfast is served at no cost to those who attend, and the public is welcome.
