Paradise Road At Pierceton?UMC Saturday

PIERCETON — Paradise Road, a traditional and country gospel group, will be performing at Pierceton United Methodist Church at 6 p.m. Saturday.

The group hails from the Nappanee and Columbia City areas and enjoys praising the Lord in song. A love offering will be received.   

The church is on Ind. 13 two blocks south of U.S. 30. It is handicapped accessible with parking in the rear.  



The Littles In Concert Sunday At Riverview

TIPPECANOE — Family gospel music group The Littles will perform at 6 p.m. Sunday at Riverview Community Church.

The Littles had three Singing News Top 80 radio releases from their first national promoted recording, “Someday Soon.” They have appeared on the National Quartet Convention main stage every year since 2012.

Their ministry is to encourage believers in their walk with Christ and to challenge unbelievers to come to Him.

Everyone is welcome to the concert. There is no admission charge, but a love offering will be collected.

Gospel Concert Saturday In Claypool

CLAYPOOL — A gospel concert with Heirline and the Dotsons is planned for 6 p.m. Saturday at the Full Gospel Tabernacle.

A freewill offering will be collected for the groups.

The church is at 205 N. Main St., Claypool.



Community Service Will Benefit Atwood

ATWOOD — The churches of Atwood invite the public to a community worship and praise service at 10:30 a.m. July 29. The service will be behind the Atwood Community Building, 213 E. Hovey St.

An offering collected that evening will go to the Atwood Fire Department and the Atwood Community Building Fund, which is used to help people in need in Atwood.

The service will be presented by the combined efforts of Aldersgate United Methodist, Atwood Christian Fellowship, New Beginnings Community and Otterbein United Methodist churches. It will have music, prayer, praise, worship and a kids time. Those who attend should bring a lawn chair and an umbrella (for shade). In case of inclement weather, the service will move inside.  

A potlock meal will follow the service in the community building. All are asked to bring a dish to share.  Table service and beverages will be provided.

Bluegrass Gospel Singing Planned Saturday

A bluegrass gospel singing is planned for 6 p.m. Saturday at Warsaw Family Worship Center.

There is no charge to attend the event. Tenderloins, barbecue and homemade milkshakes will be sold during the singing.

The church is at 1250 Husky Trail, Warsaw, next to Martin’s Super Market.  For more information, call 574-267-7210.



Car Cruise-In Saturday At Worship Center

A car cruise-in and dining will begin at 4 p.m. Saturday at Warsaw Family Worship Center.

The church will be selling large tenderloins, Joe’s BBQ and Sister’s “famous”  homemade milkeshakes.

Cultural Impact Of Psalm 23 Sermon Topic

CLAYPOOL — The public is invited to Claypool United Methodist Church at 10:20 a.m. Sunday to hear a sermon on Psalm 23 and its iconic standing in culture.

Psalm 23 is often used even at nonreligious, secular funerals. The sermon will examine why this psalm carries such power and comfort.

The church is at 302 E. Section St., Claypool.
