The following people were preliminarily charged and booked into the Kosciusko County Jail:

• 3:14 p.m. Tuesday - Jarred Jay Miller, 20, of 466 Clinic Court, Warsaw, arrested for disorderly conduct - noise and resisting law enforcement. Bond: $750.

• 4:16 p.m. Tuesday - Joshua Loren Borkholder, 38, of 13317 N. CR 700W, Nappanee, arrested on two counts of failure to appear - original charge felony. No bond set.

• 6 p.m. Tuesday - Brian O’Neal Ivey, 31, of 212 Sophie Lane, A, Warsaw, arrested for strangulation. Bond: $5,250.

• 7:34 p.m. Tuesday - Jimmy Lee Burchett, 55, of 920 Anchorage Road, #92, Warsaw, arrested for driving while a habitual traffic violator for life. Bond: $10,250.

• 8:45 p.m. Tuesday - Hannah Leigh Smith, 28, of 1716 S. West Point Drive, Warsaw, arrested for possession of meth and possession of marijuana - misdemeanor. Bond: $5,250.

• 9:27 p.m. Tuesday - Dale William Stamper, 30, of 3240 Old Colony Road, Warsaw, arrested for driving while suspended with a prior. Bond: $450.

• 9:50 p.m. Tuesday - Jeremy Jacob Neibert, 29, of 200 Lakeview Drive, Winona Lake, arrested for possession of meth, possession of paraphernalia - misdemeanor and two counts of failure to appear - original charge felony. No bond set.



Personal Injury Accidents

• 6:19 a.m. Monday - U.S. 30, 33 feet east of Orthopedic Drive, Warsaw. Two commercial trucks collided. Drivers: Jonathan L. Strauder, 24, Norwalk, Ohio; Michael R. Howard, 74, Highland. Injury: Howard appeared to be experiencing a medical problem and was taken to Kosciusko Community Hospital for treatment. Damage: $25,000-$50,000. Warsaw Police Department investigated.

• 6:08 p.m. Monday - Intersection of West CR 200S and South CR 800W, Mentone. Two-car collision. Drivers: Brittany A. Wilhite, 18, North CR 775E, Rochester; Melissa K. Lewis, 42, South CR 900W, Mentone. Injuries: Wilhite complained of neck pain, was treated at scene by Mentone EMS and signed off at the scene; Lewis complained of neck pain and taken to Parkview Hospital Warsaw by Mentone EMS. Damage: $10,000-$25,000. Kosciusko County Sheriff’s Department investigated.

Property Damage Accidents

• 4 a.m. Monday - Intersection of South County Farm Road and West CR 300S, Warsaw. Car hit raccoon. Driver: Christopher Anderson, 31, South Packerton Road, Warsaw. Damage: $1,000-$2,500. KCSD.

• 9:15 a.m. Monday - North CR 850E, 40 feet west of East Hatchery Road, Syracuse. Trailer attached to a Kosciusko County Highway Department truck fishtailed, spun truck around and trailer laid on its side. Driver: Raistlin W. Rice, 23, West CR 500S, Mentone. Damage: $10,000-$25,000. KCSD.

• 2:03 p.m. Monday - 104 E. State St., Etna Green. Car drove through yard of Stephanie L. Reynolds, East State Street, Etna Green, and then hit Double Shot Liquor building, 104 E. State St., Etna Green. Driver: Todd A. Swanson, 53, East Main Street, Atwood. Damage: $750-$1,000. KCSD.

3:08 p.m. Monday - East U.S. 30, 1,500 feet east of South CR 900E, Warsaw. Semi tractor-trailer went off road and got stuck in ditch. Driver: Trevor Henry, 63, Auburn, Ga. Damage: $50,000-$100,000. KCSD.

11:50 a.m. Tuesday - 310 Enterprise Drive, Warsaw. Van hit parked SUV registered to Lori Horney Marple, Kokomo. Driver: Alexander D. Peate, 23, East CR 225S, Winona Lake. Peate was cited for failure to maintain insurance on his vehicle. Damage: $1,000-$2,500. WPD.

• 6:14 p.m. Monday - A person in the 500 block of South Indiana Street, Warsaw, was arrested for possession of paraphernalia, meth and a narcotic. WPD.

• 12:11 a.m. Tuesday - The theft of $192 was reported in the 800 block of East Center Street, Warsaw. WPD.

• 4:06 p.m. Tuesday - Remnants of a methamphetamine lab were found under an abandoned mobile home in the 900 block of Anchorage Road, Warsaw. WPD.

• 5:10 p.m. Tuesday - A woman was arrested on a warrant in the 900 block of North Detroit Street, Warsaw. WPD.

• 7:11 p.m. Tuesday - A woman in the 400 block of East Winona Avenue, Warsaw, was arrested for possession of marijuana and meth. WPD.

• 12:08 a.m. today - A woman reported the theft of prescription medication from a residence in the 3700 block of West Old 30, Warsaw. KCSD.
