Brenna Ann Womack, 24, of 7007 E. CR 125S, Pierceton, was booked into the Kosciusko County Jail at 8:34 p.m. Monday for robbery. Her preliminary bond was set at $10,250.
Court documents filed July 6 list the charges against her as robbery, a level 5 felony; and theft, a level 6 felony.
On June 30, Kosciusko County Sheriff’s Department deputy Justin Smith responded to a burglary. The homeowner told Smith that Womack and an unknown man came to his residence. Womack took the homeowner to the back yard while the man stayed inside the residence.

The homeowner said Womack kept trying to keep him from going back inside the residence and he felt like she was stalling him. He finally went inside the house and found the man hiding in his bedroom closet, according to court documents.
The homeowner said he walked outside to get in his truck to call police and Womack stopped him from getting into the truck by grabbing his shirt. He said Womack ripped his shirt from his body and into pieces. Smith saw pieces of the shirt lying on the ground next to the truck.
The homeowner said the man and Womack left the residence. He went inside his home and found his safe had been stolen; it contained $5,000.
The homeowner said Womack knew he had the safe in his closet and that he had money in the safe.
A warrant for Womack’s arrest was issued July 6.
