LEESBURG — Michael Wayne Smith will be the guest musician at Leesburg United Methodist Church’s lakeside service Sunday.
Smith is a Christian singer/songwriter from Oak Ridge, Tenn., whose focus is southern/country gospel. He has been traveling and sharing his gift of music with his family since 2009. He has released six studio albums, 14 radio singles and one live concert DVD/CD.
The service begins at 8:30 a.m. Sunday at Patona Bay on Tippecanoe Lake. Guests may come by boat, kayak or canoe and anchor in front of Patona Bay. Those who join the group on land should bring a chair. If it rains, the service will be moved to the boathouse.
Leesburg UMC also has a service at 9:30 a.m. Sunday at its building in Leesburg.
Christianaires Singing At Lakeside Service
AKRON — The Christianaires will be singing at the Beaver Dam United Methodist Church’s lakeside service at 8 a.m. Sunday.
The group also will be at the 9:30 a.m. worship service at the church.
Everyone is welcome to the services of song and testimony.
The church is at 9798 W. 1000 S., Akron.
Evangelist Coming To Faith Fellowship
NORTH?MANCHESTER — Faith Fellowship will have a special service with evangelist Mike Manuel from Pecks Mill, W.Va., this weekend.
Manuel was a high school teacher before becoming an evangelist. After he became a Christian he gained a photographic memory and uses it to share God’s word. He ministers to the sick, hurting, and those seeking answers and direction.
The service is at 10 a.m. Sunday. A dinner will follow the service. Everyone is welcome.
The church is at 6591 E. 1000 S., North Manchester.

Michael Wayne Smith will be in concert at Warsaw Family Worship Center at 6 p.m. Sunday.
A freewill offering will be collected.
The church is at 1250 Husky Trail, next to Martin’s Super Market.
